Q: Can you tell us a bit about the project?

A: CryptoCAT is the new cryptocurrency in town. It is based on a content-centric architecture called OT-OCN developed by Cyber Advanced Technology (CAT). That’s why the name is CryptoCat. It will be used for M2M communication between autonomous devices in smart cities.

Q: I found the following on your website: “CryptoCAT Q-COIN is based on the OT-OCN paradigm. It utilizes real-time and dynamic profiling systems, enabling simultaneous presence in multiple instances. Smart cities will be represented by Autonomous Devices with the ability to make operational business decisions independently without the need for human intervention”. I’ve never heard anything about this concept. Can you tell us how it works, and what are the benefits for holders?

A: OT-OCN is a content-centric network architecture, where content is addressable by name instead of the address. It is a shift away from the current TCP/IP network used to power current blockchains. If blockchains are built using the same Web 2.0 architecture, then they will not be able to achieve the goals of Web 3.0. Token holders can benefit from a variety of segments, including price growth, transaction fees in the WebChain, buying OT-OCN-powered devices when they are available, etc.

Q: I did not find any information about tokenomics in your white paper. Are you one of those projects rewarding investors for holding your token?

A: This is neither a DeFi token nor an asset-backed token. Token holders will benefit from technological enhancements of the project. Our focus has been to power the next generation of the internet with our OT-OCN paradigm.

Q: Who is the target market for CryptoCat? Which categories of users are you focusing on? Is it the institutions, or companies, or retailers?

A: Considering the use cases of our technology, the target market for CryptoCAT token is open-ended. Institutions/companies can become a part of our autonomous M2M network that will power smart cities and retail.

Q: When are you planning to get listed on CoinGecko and CoinMarketCap? Why do you use such a logo while calling yourself CryptoCat (why not use a cat logo)? Do you consider yourself a meme token?

A: CryptoCAT is NOT a meme token. Although the idea of a cat logo would have been great, considering there is “CAT” in the name, it is just a coincidence. Our token has nothing to do with animals. We are working together with our technology partner Cyber Advanced Technology (CAT), whose networking technology OT-OCN will power our token in the next phase. We are in the process of getting listed on CoinGecko and CoinMarketCap.

Q: As far as I know, CryptoCat has an incredible suite of products and services. The first of these products is CryptoCAT Q Coin. Could you tell us a little more about this token? What is it intended for, and what is its role in the project?

A: CryptoCAT Q Coin will be a token used on our WebChain powered by OT-OCN. All the CryptoCAT token holders will be migrated to CryptoCAT Q Coin once the WebChain is made publicly available. The CryptoCAT project is part of the first phase of our roadmap.

Q: You mention that with CryptoCat, the quality of life of everyone could be improved not only today but for many future years. In which areas could ”our quality of life” improve? And how will you enhance validity in the coming years?

A: One of the goals of Web 3.0 is the democratization of the internet away from the big tech. Reliance on big banks and big tech for our daily needs from banking, communication, security, online identity, etc., determines our quality of life. Blockchain cuts through it by giving power back to individual users and stakeholders. But current blockchains cannot perform at the same efficiency and speed, especially at a large scale. This is where the OT-OCN paradigm comes in. It will be used to power a new blockchain called WebChain to achieve Web 3.0 goals. This will not only give the power back to users but also perform at a better speed than the alternatives. OT-OCN is built around operation-centric architecture, so it uses the network effect, meaning that it gets better and better as more and more users become part of the paradigm. So, over the years, with the user growth, it will not lose validity.

Q: There are many problems with blockchains. The most important one is the performance speed that’s completely incapable of supporting the requirements of Smart Cities. What is your solution/vision for solving this problem for the crypto community?

A: Yes, you are right. The current tech stack used in blockchains is incapable of providing the throughput and performance needed to power large-scale infrastructure like Smart Cities. This is why our token will be powered by OT-OCN technology. It is an Operation and Content-centric architecture built for scale, performance, security, and reliability. Blockchain-based on this paradigm will address issues associated with the smart city level large-scale projects.

Q: Looking back at the beginning of 2021, what would you do differently for your project? What unexpected decisions have led you to the best result this year? What are your plans for the next year? Share your roadmap with us. 

A: Well, that’s an interesting question. I think in 2021, we could have spent a little more time on bringing more and more people on board through marketing activities and by listing the token on a lot more exchanges, rather than focusing solely on technology development. After realizing the power of the democratization of technology, especially in the blockchain space, we will focus on community building and technological enhancements.
