Terms and Conditions of the “Trading Competition With Scamfari‎” Promotion

The Organizer of the Promotion is UAB Clear White Technologies, a company duly incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Lithuania with the registration number LT-03224. The registered office address of the company is located at J. Basanaviiaus g. 26, Vilnius, Republic of Lithuania.

The Promotion period: from 12 p.m. (UTC) on September 12, 2023, until 12 p.m. (UTC) on September 25, 2023.

Territory of the Promotion: the Promotion is held on the territory of all countries, with the exception of: Afghanistan, American Samoa, US Virgin Islands, Guam, Iran, Yemen, Libya, Palestine, Puerto Rico, Somalia, North Korea, Northern Mariana Islands, USA, Canada, Syria, Sudan, South Sudan, Transnistria, temporarily occupied territories of Georgia, Nagorno-Karabakh, Northern Cyprus, Western Sahara, Ambazonia, Spain, Kosovo, Republic of Belarus, Russian Federation, temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

The Promotion is held with the primary objective of promoting the services provided by WhiteBIT.

The Promotion is not a game of chance, a lottery, a service in the field of gambling business, or a contest; these Terms are not a public promise of reward.

Information about the Promotion is provided on the basis of advertising rights.

Participants of the Promotion are adult citizens of non-prohibited countries (that is, except those specified above) or other persons who are legally present in the territory of such countries and who have fulfilled the following Terms:

– Signed up on the official WhiteBIT exchange website https://whitebit.com for the first time or be already signed up and passed KYC verification;

– Clicked the Participate button on the Promotion’s page;

– Traded the SCM/USDT trading pair on the WhiteBIT exchange during the Promotion period.

Important!

The table of Participants is refreshed every 30 minutes. The final trading volume data will be collected at 12:00 p.m. UTC on September 25, 2023.

The trading volume of the Promotion Participants will be counted only for the SCM/USDT trading pair, as indicated on the Promotion page.

The Trading Volume is counted as the total sum of all Participant’s executed Buy and Sell orders on a specified Trading Pair(s) during the Promotion period.

The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify the Participant from the trading competition if they:

• Use wash trading (execute their own orders);
• Use accounts with a 0% trading fee (except for special trading fee discounts provided to holders of the WhiteBIT Token);
• Use API bots;
• Use the corporate account (for example, those created for exchange services);
• Use multi-accounts (only one account per Participant is allowed);
• Conduct any other illegal activity covered by WhiteBIT’s User Agreement, AML/CFT Policy, and Privacy Policy.

Joint deliberate actions of a Participant with other Participants, utilizing their accounts to participate in the Promotion with insider knowledge of such accounts’ actions, strategies, and intentions in terms of order placement and execution is considered as operating a multi-account, is prohibited and, therefore, entails the disqualification of such Participants from the Promotion.

The Terms of the Promotion must be fulfilled within the conduction period.

Any personal data of the Participants of the Promotion is processed to ensure participation in the Promotion, marketing relations, advertising relations, tax relations, and relations in the accounting field.

Employees, representatives, or agents of the Organizer and their relatives (first and second degree of consanguinity) are not entitled to participate in the Promotion. If, at the time of accounting for the Prize, it is established that the person who participated in the Promotion cannot be a Participant of the Promotion in accordance with these Conditions, such a person shall not be granted the right to receive the Prize.

Participants of the Promotion have the opportunity to become Winners and win one of the Prizes of the Total Prize Fund of 30 000 000 SCM, which consists of the Main Prize Fund of 18 000 000 SCM and the Additional Prize Fund of 12 000 000 SCM.

20 Participants who achieve the largest Trading Volume during the Promotion will win a Prize from the Main Prize fund, distributed as follows:

• 1st place — 4 545 000 SCM;
• 2nd place — 2 700 000 SCM;
• 3rd place — 1 800 000 SCM;
• 4th–9th places — 750 000 SCM each;
• 10th–20th places — 405 000 SCM each.

All other Participants with a Trading Volume from the SCM/USDT pair equivalent to more than 2000 USDT will win a Prize from the Additional Prize Fund, distributed in proportion to the number of Winners.

The maximum possible number of Winners who can win a Prize from the Main Prize fund is 20 people. The maximum possible number of Winners who can win a Prize from the Additional Prize Fund is unlimited. One Winner can only win one Prize from the Main or Additional Prize Pool.

Based on the results of the Promotion, the Organizer automatically generates the list of Participants according to the Trading Volume of the Participants at the time of its completion, at 12:00 p.m. (UTC) on 25.09.2023, which will be available on the Leaderboard. The Winners of the Promotion will be determined on 28.09.2023 among the Promotion Participants from the list who have fulfilled all its Conditions. The Winners will be announced in this article on the WhiteBIT blog on 28.09.2023.

The Organizer accrues the Prizes to the Winners’ Main Balances on the WhiteBIT exchange within 5 working days from the next calendar day after the announcement of the Winners.

The Winners of the Promotion will be informed about the winnings by a letter to the e-mail address specified during signing up on the https://whitebit.com/ website within 5 working days after the accrual of the Prizes.

If the Winner does not comply with these Conditions, such Winner loses the right to the status of the Winner, and such right passes to the next Winner on the list.

The Winner receives the Prize for free. The Prize cannot be replaced with its monetary equivalent. The Winner of the Promotion has no right to demand any other compensation from the Organizer.

In case of not receiving the Prize, if the Winner was entitled to it, or in case of any other difficulties, the Winner should contact online support on the https://whitebit.com website, to the e-mail address support@whitebit.com. This should be done no later than 12.10.2023 inclusively. If the Winner does not apply within the specified period, including in the case of non-receipt of the Prize, the Winner loses the right to receive it.

The received Prize cannot be exchanged or returned.

Winners determined by the Promotion results cannot transfer the rights to receive the Prize to third parties.

The Winner of the Promotion is entitled to refuse the Prize.

The Organizer bears no warranty obligations regarding the Prize received within the framework of this Promotion and under the conditions specified in these Terms and Conditions.

The Organizer does not compensate for the additional expenses of the Winner related to the receipt of the Prize. Taxation of the income of the Winners who received the Prize is carried out in accordance with the current legislation of the countries of Participants.

By participating in the Promotion, the Participant understands and agrees that any information voluntarily provided by him, including the Participant’s personal data, may be processed by the Organizer or third parties involved by him. The information may be processed to conduct the Promotion, to carry out all necessary actions related to it (including, but not exclusively, informing about the Promotion results both in advertising and in another way), as well as further possible sending of information to the Participant, including of an advertising nature, about the following events/competitions/promotions/draws of the Organizer. By accepting the requirements of these Terms, the Participants hereby consent to such processing of personal data for use by the Organizer and/or other authorized Organizers and confirm their full understanding and necessary awareness of the purposes of processing the information provided, as well as the privacy policy: https://whitebit.com/privacy-policy.

At the same time, by their participation in the Promotion, the Participants of the Promotion confirm their consent to the use of their surnames and names without financial compensation, as well as their agreement to comply with other Conditions of the Promotion. The Winners confirm their consent to provide advertising interviews about participation in the Promotion in the media, including on radio and television, as well as to be photographed for producing graphic materials without paying them any monetary compensation. All exclusive intellectual property rights to such interviews and photographs will belong to the Organizer.

The Organizer reserves the right to change the Terms and Conditions of the Promotion. In case of any changes, information about this will be provided on the https://whitebit.com website and Organizer’s social networks.

The Organizer does not enter into disputes that may arise between the Promotion’s Participants concerning the Prize. In situations that allow an ambiguous interpretation of these Conditions and/or issues not regulated by these Conditions, the Organizer of the Promotion makes the final decision in accordance with the requirements of the current legislation of the countries of Participants. In this case, the decision of the Organizer of the Promotion is final and not subject to appeal.

The Organizer of the Promotion is not responsible for the operation of the services of telecommunications companies, postal communication, in particular e-mail, for any errors of the employees of any enterprises/institutions/organizations that ensure the exchange of information between the Participants of the Promotion and the Organizer, or the circumstances as a result of which postal items did not arrive, arrived late, were lost or damaged; or as a result of which the Promotion Participant did not receive the corresponding Prize.
