Terms and Conditions of Participation in the “True or false?” Promotion

The Organizer of the Promotion is UAB Clear White Technologies, a company duly incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Lithuania with the registration number LT-03224. The registered office address of the company is located at J. Basanaviiaus g. 26, Vilnius, Republic of Lithuania.
The Promotion period will commence on the 21th of July, 2023, at 8 a.m. (UTC) and conclude on the 23th of July, 2023, at 2 p.m. (UTC).
The Promotion is open to Participants from all countries worldwide, except for the citizens of the following jurisdictions: Afghanistan, American Samoa, U.S. Virgin Islands, Territory of Guam, Iran, Yemen, Libya, State of Palestine, Puerto Rico, Somalia, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, The Northern Mariana Islands, USA, Syria, Russian Federation, Republic of Belarus, Republic of Sudan, Transnistria, temporarily occupied territories of Georgia, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Western Sahara, Federal Republic of Ambazonia, Kosovo, South Sudan, Canada, and temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
It is the responsibility of Participants to ensure that their participation is not prohibited or restricted by the laws or regulations of their jurisdiction. The Organizer reserves the right to verify the eligibility of Participants and may request proof of residency or location if necessary.
For any inquiries or communication with the Organizer, Participants may contact the Organizer directly via email at support@whitebit.com or via chat on the official website at https://whitebit.com.
The Promotion is organized with the primary objective of promoting the services provided by WhiteBIT.
The Promotion is not considered a game of chance, lottery, gambling service, or contest. These Terms and Conditions do not represent a public commitment to reward participants.
Information about the Promotion is communicated in accordance with the Organizer’s advertising rights.
Participants of the Promotion are adult citizens (persons over the age of 18 years) of non-prohibited countries who have met the following conditions:
- Registered on the website https://whitebit.com/, and passed the identity verification (KYC);
- Subscribed to one of WhiteBIT’s social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter);
- Reacted to a post about the Promotion in the WhiteBIT account in the social network where the Participant is subscribed to the WhiteBIT account.
- In the comments section of the post about the Promotion in the WhiteBIT account in the social network to which the Participant is subscribed, indicated untrue facts about WhiteBIT in the form of a point number from 1 to 10.
The Conditions of the Promotion must be met within the designated time frame of its duration.
Participants’ personal data in the Promotion will be processed to ensure their participation in the Promotion and establish marketing relations, advertising relations, tax relations, and accounting relations.
Participants who are employees, representatives, or agents of the Organizer, as well as their relatives (up to the second degree of kinship), are ineligible to participate in the Promotion. If, at the time of awarding the Prize, it is determined that Participants do not meet the eligibility criteria set forth in these Terms, they will not be entitled to receive the Prize.
Participants in the Promotion have the opportunity to win one of the Prizes from the Prize Fund of $200 — $20 each.
The Promotion allows for 10 winners, with the precise number varying based on the social media platform associated with the WhiteBIT account that the participant uses to fulfill the activity conditions:
The maximum possible number of Winners among the Participants who have met the conditions of the Promotion in the WhiteBIT account on Instagram is 4 people.
The maximum possible number of Winners among the Participants who have met the conditions of the Promotion in the WhiteBIT account on Facebook is 2 people.
The maximum possible number of Winners among the Participants who have met the conditions of the Promotion in the WhiteBIT account on Twitter is 4 people.
According to the results of the Promotion in the period from the period between July 20th to July 24th, 2023, the Organizer forms three lists of Participants who meet all Conditions of the Promotion for each of the stated social networks (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook). On July 24th, 2023, the Organizer will announce the time and place of the Prize drawing through its social networks and by publishing information on the page https://whitebit.com.
The Winners of the Promotion will be selected using the service random.org, automatically, among all the Participants of the Promotion who meet the conditions of the Promotion. Winners are determined by their ranking (place in the list on the service https://www.random.org/). The announcement of the Winners will take place on the 25 of July, 2023. The list of Winners will be officially announced on the 25 of July, 2023 through a separate article on the WhiteBIT company blog (https://blog.whitebit.com/).
If it proves to be impracticable to contact the Winners or if the Winners fail to comply with these Terms, such Winners shall forfeit their entitlement to the Winner status, and such entitlement shall be transferred to the next Winner on the list.
The Winner receives the Prize free of charge. The Prize is non-replaceable, and the Promotion Winner is not entitled to demand any additional compensation from the Organizer. The Organizer assumes no warranty obligations for the Prize received within the ambit of this Promotion and under the conditions specified in these Terms.
WhiteBIT will contact the Winners in private messages on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter (depending on the social network where the Winner fulfilled the conditions of the Promotion), to clarify the following data: nickname on the website https://whitebit.com/. If the Winner does not respond in private messages on Instagram within 24 hours, such a Winner forfeits the right to the Winner status, and this right passes to the next Winner in the list.
The Organizer will credit the Prizes to the Winners’ wallets on the Winners’ Main balances on WhiteBIT within 5 business days after the announcement of the Winners. Moreover, the Organizer will notify the Winners via email using the address registered with their WhiteBIT accounts within 5 business day(s) after the Winners have been determined.
In the event that the Winners do not receive the Prize, assuming they were eligible for it, or encounter any other difficulties, it is required for the Winners to contact the online support at https://whitebit.com, email support@whitebit.com, or engage in a chat conversation by no later than the 6th of August 2023, inclusively. If the Winners fail to make contact regarding the issue of non-receipt of the Prize by the specified date, they will forfeit their right to receive the Prize.
By participating in the Promotion, Participants confirm their consent to the use of their surnames and first names without any financial compensation. Participants also agree to comply with all other Terms of the Promotion. Winners additionally confirm their agreement to participate in advertising interviews regarding their participation in the Promotion, including media platforms such as radio and television, and to be photographed for the creation of graphic materials without receiving any monetary compensation. All exclusive intellectual property rights to such interviews and photographs will be owned by the Organizer.
The Organizer reserves the right to amend or modify the Winners determined by the results of the Promotion are not permitted to transfer the rights to receive the Prize to any third parties.
The Winner of the Promotion has the right to refuse the Prize.
The Organizer does not provide compensation for any additional expenses arising from the Winner’s receipt of the Prize. The taxation of the Prize income received by the Winners shall be carried out in accordance with the prevailing legislation.
By participating in the Promotion, the Participant acknowledges and agrees that any voluntarily provided information, including personal data, may be processed by the Organizer or third parties engaged by the Organizer to conduct the Promotion and perform all necessary related activities. This includes, but is not limited to, informing Participants about the results of the Promotion through advertising or other means. Participants may also receive further information, particularly of an advertising nature, about subsequent events, competitions, promotions, or raffles organized by the Organizer. By accepting these Terms and Conditions, Participants explicitly consent to the processing of their personal data by the Organizer and/or other authorized entities. Participants confirm their full understanding and necessary awareness of the purposes for processing the provided information, as well as the privacy policy, accessible at: https://whitebit.com/privacy-policy.
Terms and Conditions of the Promotion. In the event of any such changes, information regarding the modifications will be provided on the WhiteBIT website and the Organizer’s official social media platforms.
The Organizer does not involve itself in the resolution of disputes that may arise between Participants of the Prize Promotion. In situations where there are ambiguities in the interpretation of these Terms and/or matters that are not specifically addressed by these Terms, the Organizer of the Promotion will make the final decision in accordance with the applicable legal requirements. It is essential to recognize that the Organizer’s decision is considered final and is not subject to appeal.
In the event of any discrepancies or inaccuracies arising from translation across multiple languages utilized in the Promotion, the English rendition shall be deemed authoritative and shall supersede all other versions.
The Organizer of the Promotion is not responsible for the operation of telecommunication companies, postal services, including email, for any errors made by employees of any enterprises/institutions/organizations that facilitate the exchange of information between the Participants of the Promotion and the Organizer, or for circumstances under which mailings did not arrive, arrived late, were lost or damaged; or as a result of which the Participant of the Promotion did not receive the corresponding Prize.
