The Essentials of Lecksis: A Secure Messenger with a Crypto Wallet

With growing threats to privacy, such as data breaches, corporate espionage, cyberattacks, and the loss of confidentiality, controlling your communication is more crucial than ever. That’s why Lecksis was created—a secure, anonymous messenger.

What is Lecksis?

Lecksis is a secure messenger that combines the best features of popular platforms and expands them through the integration of cryptocurrency solutions. With a built-in crypto wallet, Lecksis offers the ability for anonymous transactions and online commerce, in addition to standard messaging and audio calls.

Security and Anonymity

One can register with Lecksis without using a phone number or email, minimizing the risk of information leaks. Users have the option to communicate without revealing personal data, maintaining their privacy.

The access to the accounts is protected with a 24-word seed phrase. Lecksis does not store data, and encryption keys remain solely in the users’ possession, giving them full control over their privacy.

The messenger uses end-to-end encryption, a method that ensures only the sender and recipient have access to the messages’ content.

Connections between devices are established using the X3DH algorithm, which generates a unique key based on the devices’ private keys. Each message is then encrypted with the Double Ratchet algorithm, making it impossible to trace the order of messages or link them to a specific conversation.

During calls, the WebRTC protocol ensures secure data transmission without storing it on Lecksis servers.

Lecksis Crypto Wallet

The built-in crypto wallet in Lecksis allows transactions directly within the app and supports multiple cryptocurrencies. It enables users to store, send, and receive funds directly through the messenger’s interface.

Prospects

Lecksis is actively working on expanding the core functionality of the messenger and plans to add an internal marketplace.

Additionally, the introduction of the LEKS token and smart contracts is anticipated, which will provide new opportunities for interaction within the Lecksis ecosystem:

  • LEKS will be the primary currency for in-app transactions, including payments for bots and other features.
  • With LEKS, users can buy and sell goods and services in the built-in online stores.
  • Content creators will earn LEKS for their work.
  • Users can gain additional tokens through staking.
  • LEKS holders will have voting rights on decisions related to the development of Lecksis.
