Terms and Conditions for Participation in the “Trading Competition with LEKS” Promotion

The Organizer of the Promotion is WhiteBIT.

Promotion period: from 12 PM (UTC) on September 11, 2024, to 12 PM (UTC) on September 25, 2024.

Promotion territory: The Promotion is held in all countries except for the Islamic Emirates of Afghanistan, American Samoa, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Republic of Yemen, the State of Libya, the State of Palestine, the freely associated state of Puerto Rico, the Federal Republic of Somalia, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, the United States of America, the Syrian Arab Republic, the Republic of Sudan, the Republic of South Sudan, the “Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic,” the French Republic, the Federal Republic of Germany, the temporarily occupied territories of Georgia, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Western Sahara, Ambazonia, the Republic of Kosovo, the Kingdom of Spain, Canada, the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation, and the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

Participants are responsible for ensuring that their participation is not prohibited or restricted by the laws or regulations of their jurisdiction. The Organizer reserves the right to verify the eligibility of Participants and may request proof of residence or location if necessary.

The Promotion is conducted to promote WhiteBIT services.

The Promotion is not a gambling event, lottery, gambling service, or contest; these Terms do not constitute a public promise of a reward.

The information about the promotion is provided based on advertising rights.

Participants of the Promotion are adult citizens of non-prohibited countries (that is, except those specified above) or other persons who are legally present in the territory of such countries and who have fulfilled the following Conditions:

• Signed up for the WhiteBIT website for the first time or are already users of the WhiteBIT exchange and have passed the identity verification (KYC) procedure;
• Clicked the “Participate” button on the Promotion page;
• Have traded the LEKS/USDT pair with a minimum trading volume of 4,000 USDT during the Promotion period.

Attention! The leaderboard is a ranking of Promotion Participants based on trading volume (where the participant with the highest trading volume is ranked first), updated every 30 minutes. The final trading volume data will be collected at 12 PM (UTC) on September 25, 2024.

The trading volume of Promotion Participants will only be counted for the LEKS/USDT trading pair.

Trading volume is calculated as the total sum of all buy and sell orders executed by the Participant in the specified trading pairs during the Promotion period. The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify a Participant if they:

• Engage in wash trading (execute their own orders);
• Use accounts with 0% trading fees (except for special trading fee discounts provided to WhiteBIT Coin (WBT) holders);
• Use API bots;
• Use a corporate account (e.g., created for exchange services);
• Use multiple accounts (only one account per Participant is allowed);
• Engage in any other illegal activity or activity that violates the User Agreement, WhiteBIT’s AML Policy, or Privacy Policy.

IMPORTANT! While participating in the Campaign, it is forbidden to register on the exchange several times (use several accounts). Participants with multiple accounts will be disqualified. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, each Participant may register only once (have only one account). The use of multiple accounts (multi-accounts and/or Sub-Accounts) or cooperation with affiliated users and/or users of Sub-Accounts belonging to the Participant for manipulating orders is prohibited and will result in the closure of all accounts without the owner’s consent. In case of detecting the creation of several accounts, the Organizer reserves the right to close the second created account and any subsequent multi-accounts.

The Terms of the Promotion must be fulfilled within the Promotion period.

Any personal data of Promotion Participants is processed to ensure participation in the Promotion, as well as for marketing, advertising, tax, and accounting purposes.

Employees, representatives, or agents of the Organizer and their relatives (first and second-degree relatives) are not eligible to participate in the Promotion. If, at the time of awarding the Prize, it is determined that the person who participated in the Promotion cannot be a Participant of the Promotion according to these Rules, that person loses the right to receive the Prize.

The first 20 Participants of the Promotion in the Leaderboard, who meet the Promotion’s Terms and achieve the highest trading volume (with a minimum of 6,000 USDT) during the Promotion period, will have the opportunity to become Winners and win one of the Prizes from the Main Prize Pool, which amounts to 350,000 LEKS, distributed as follows:

• 1st place in the Leaderboard — 56,000 LEKS;
• 2nd place in the Leaderboard — 34,000 LEKS;
• 3rd place in the Leaderboard — 24,500 LEKS;
• 4th–7th places in the Leaderboard — 21,000 LEKS each;
• 8th–10th places in the Leaderboard — 16,500 LEKS each;
• 11th–14th places in the Leaderboard — 12,000 LEKS each;
• 15th–20th places in the Leaderboard — 9,000 LEKS each.

Other Participants of the Promotion who meet the Terms of the Promotion and achieve a minimum trading volume of 4,000 USDT will have the chance to become Winners and win a share of the Additional Prize Pool, which amounts to 150,000 LEKS, specifically 7,500 LEKS each.

The maximum number of Winners who can win a Prize from the Main Prize Pool is 20 people. The maximum number of Winners who can win a Prize from the Additional Prize Pool is 20 people.

A Winner can receive only one Prize from either the Main or Additional Prize Pool.

At the conclusion of the Promotion, the Organizer will automatically generate a list of Participants who have met the Promotion’s Terms by 12 PM (UTC) on 25.09.2024, based on the trading volume of the Participants at the end of the Promotion, which will be available in the Leaderboard.

The determination of the Promotion Winners will take place on 04.10.2024. The Winners who will receive a Prize from the Main Prize Pool will be the 20 Participants who have met all the Terms of the Promotion and had the highest trading volume, but no less than 6,000 USDT for the LEKS/USDT pair at the time of the Promotion’s conclusion, according to the ranking in the Leaderboard.

The determination of the Winners who will receive a Prize from the Additional Prize Pool will take place on 04.10.2024 through the random.org service, automatically selecting from all Participants who reached a trading volume of at least 4,000 USDT and have met the Terms of the Promotion, excluding those Participants who became Winners and received a Prize from the Main Prize Pool. The Winners who will receive a Prize from the Additional Prize Pool will be determined by their ranking (position on the list on the https://www.random.org/ service).

The list of Winners will be published in this article on 04.10.2024. A video recording of the screen showing the process of determining the Winners who will receive Prizes from the Additional Prize Fund will be published on WhiteBIT YouTube channel.

The Organizer will credit the Prizes to the Main balances of the Winners on the WhiteBIT exchange within 7 business days from the next calendar day after the publication of the Winners’ list.

The Winners of the Promotion will be informed about the crediting of the Prize via email to the address provided during registration on the website, https://whitebit.com/, within 5 business days after the Prizes are credited.

If, after the Winners are determined, it is discovered that a Participant did not properly comply with the Terms of the Promotion or otherwise violated these Rules of the Promotion or the User Agreement, such a Winner will lose the right to receive the Prize and the status of Winner. In such a case, the right to receive the Prize and the status of Winner will pass to:

– in the case of the Main Prize fund distribution—the next Participant in the Leaderboard who has achieved the highest trading volume for the LEKS/USDT pair. For example, if the Participant in third place is disqualified, their reward will be transferred to the Participant in the next, fourth position in the ranking;

– in the case of the Additional Prize Fund distribution—the Participant selected through the random.org service.

The Winner receives the Prize for free. Replacing the Prize with its cash equivalent is not allowed. The Winner of the Promotion has no right to demand any other compensation from the Organizer.

In case the Winner does not receive the Prize, even if they were entitled to it, or if any other difficulties arise, the Winner must contact online support on the website https://whitebit.com or via email at support@whitebit.com. The Winner must do this no later than 18.10.2024, inclusive. If the Winner does not reach out within the specified period, particularly regarding not receiving the Prize, they will lose the right to claim it.

The received Prize is non-exchangeable and non-returnable.

Winners determined by the results of the Promotion cannot transfer their rights to receive the Prize to third parties.

The Winner of the Promotion has the right to refuse the Prize.

The Organizer does not provide any warranty obligations regarding the Prize received within this Promotion and under the conditions specified in these Rules.

The Organizer will not compensate the Winner for any additional expenses related to receiving the Prize. The taxation of income for Winners who received the Prize is carried out according to the current legislation of the Participants’ countries.

By participating in the Promotion, the Participant understands and agrees that any voluntarily provided information, including the Participant’s personal data, may be processed by the Organizer or by third parties engaged by the Organizer for conducting the Promotion, carrying out all necessary related actions (including, but not limited to, informing about the results of the Promotion in advertising and other ways), as well as for possible further sending of information, including advertising, about future events/contests/promotions/raffles by the Organizer. By accepting these Terms, Participants thereby consent to such processing of personal data for use by the Organizer and/or other authorized persons appointed by the Organizer and confirm their full understanding and necessary awareness regarding the purposes of data processing and the privacy policy: https://whitebit.com/privacy-policy.

At the same time, Participants in the Promotion confirm their agreement to the use of their surnames and names without any material compensation, as well as their agreement to adhere to the other Rules of the Promotion. Winners agree to give promotional interviews about their participation in the Promotion to the media, including radio and television, and to be photographed for the creation of graphic materials without receiving any monetary compensation. All exclusive property rights to such interviews and photographs will belong to the Organizer.

The Organizer reserves the right to make changes to the conditions and timing of the Promotion. In the event of any changes, information about this will be provided on the website https://whitebit.com and on the Organizer’s social networks.

The Organizer will not enter into disputes that may arise between Participants regarding the Prize. In case of situations that allow for ambiguous interpretation of these Rules and/or issues not covered by these Rules, the final decision is made by the Organizer of the Promotion in accordance with the requirements of the current legislation of the Participants’ countries. At the same time, the decision of the Organizer of the Promotion is final and not subject to appeal.

The Organizer of the Promotion is not responsible for the operation of telecommunications companies, postal services, including email, or for any errors made by employees of any enterprises/institutions/organizations that facilitate the exchange of information between Participants and the Organizer.

In the event of any discrepancies or inaccuracies related to translations in multiple languages used in the Promotion, the English translation shall be considered valid and shall replace all other versions.
