Terms and Conditions of Participation in the “Invite Referrals & Share Guarantied 5000 USDT Prize Pool” Promotion

The Organizer of the Promotion is WhiteBIT.

The Promotion period will commence on the 23d of October 2023, 8 p.m. (UTC) and conclude on the 6th of November 2023, at 8 p.m. (UTC).

The Promotion is open to Participants from all countries worldwide, except for the citizens of the following jurisdictions: Afghanistan, American Samoa, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, Iran, Yemen, Libya, Palestine, Puerto Rico, Somalia, Nigeria, North Korea, the Northern Mariana Islands, the USA, Spain, Canada, Syria, Sudan, South Sudan, “Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic”, the temporarily occupied territories of Georgia, “Republic of Artsakh”, Northern Cyprus, Western Sahara, Ambazonia, Kosovo, Republic of Belarus, Russian Federation and the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

It is the responsibility of Participants to ensure that their participation is not prohibited or restricted by the laws or regulations of their jurisdiction. The Organizer reserves the right to verify the eligibility of Participants and may request proof of residency or location if necessary.

The Promotion is organized with the primary objective of promoting the services provided by WhiteBIT.

The Promotion is not considered a game of chance, lottery, gambling service, or contest. These Terms and Conditions do not represent a public commitment to reward participants.

Information about the Promotion is communicated following the Organizer’s advertising rights.

Participants of the Promotion are adult citizens (persons over the age of 18 years) of non-prohibited countries who are registered users of WhiteBIT exchange that have met the following conditions:

Received an invitation letter to participate in this Promotion to the email address they indicated when registering on WhiteBIT exchange;
Invited Referral(s)* with their personalized referral link;
Requested that the Referral(s) register on WhiteBIT using the personalized referral link provided by the Participant and pass the identity verification procedure (KYC).

*A Referral is an individual who has not been previously registered on the exchange and who receives a referral link from an existing exchange user to sign up on the exchange.

The Conditions of the Promotion must be met within the designated time frame of its duration.

Participants’ data in the Promotion will be processed to ensure participation and establish marketing, advertising, tax, and accounting relations.

Participants who are employees, representatives, or agents of the Organizer, or their relatives (up to the second degree of kinship), are ineligible to participate in the Promotion. If, when awarding the Prize, it is determined that Participants do not meet the eligibility criteria outlined in these Terms, they will not be entitled to receive the Prize.

Participants of the Promotion have the opportunity to become the Winners and win Prizes from the 5000 USDT* Prize Pool.

The Prize Pool will be shared among all Participants who have met the above-mentioned conditions, granting that all Participants will receive a share of the General Prize Pool;
The Participants of the Promotion will receive Prizes according to the proportional distribution of rewards;
The Reward distribution will depend on the number of Referrals invited by the Participants who met all the above-mentioned conditions.
Participants will receive a stable amount of Prize which will depend on the general number of Referrals invited by the Participants.
The reward distribution will be calculated according to the following formula: Prize Pool amount (5000 USDT) divided by the number of all Referrals invited by all Participants during the Promotional period. This number will correspond to the amount of Prize each Participant will receive for each invited Referral.
The determination of Winners will be carried out with the help of an internal software to check the Participant’s eligibility to participate in the Promotion.

*The Organizer reserves the right to increase the Prize Pool.

One Winner may receive one Prize in the amount of a share of the Prize Pool that will correspond to the number of invited Referrals.

Based on the results of the Promotion compiled during the period between 8 p.m. (UTC) October 23, 2023, to 8 p.m. (UTC) November 6th, 2023, the Organizer forms a list of Participants who meet all the Conditions of the Promotion, namely received an invitation to participate in the Promotion and used their referral link to invite new Referrals, and announces the time and place of the Prize giveaway via emails sent to the Winners email addresses indicated when registering on the WhiteBIT platform and realizes the publication of this information on the https://whitebit.com page.

The determination of Winners will be carried out within 14 business days with the help of an internal software to check the Participant’s eligibility to participate in the Promotion.

The announcement of the Winners will take place after the end of the Promotion period on the 6th of November 2023, with the 24th of November 2023 being the final date for the announcement of the Winners. The list of Winners will be officially announced through a separate article on the WhiteBIT company blog (https://blog.whitebit.com/) on the same date.

The Winner receives the Prize free of charge. The Prize is non-refundable, non-replaceable, and the Promotion Winner is not entitled to demand any additional compensation from the Organizer. The Organizer assumes no warranty obligations for the Prize received within the ambit of this Promotion and under the conditions specified in these Terms and Conditions.

The Organizer will credit the Prizes to the Winners’ wallets on the Winners’ Main balances within 5 business days after the announcement of the Winners. Moreover, the Organizer will notify the Winners via email using the address registered with their WhiteBIT accounts within 5 business day(s) after the Winners have been determined.

In the event that the Winners do not receive the Prize, assuming they were eligible for it, or encounter any other difficulties, it is required for the Winners to contact the online support at https://whitebit.com, email support@whitebit.com, or engage with the Organizer’s agents in live chat within seven calendar days after the final day of receiving the prize, that is till December 8, inclusive . If the Winners fail to make contact regarding the issue of non-receipt of the Prize by the specified date, they will forfeit their right to receive the Prize.

Winners determined by the Promotion results cannot transfer the rights to receive the Prize to any third parties.

The Winner of the Promotion is entitled to refuse the Prize.

The Organizer does not provide compensation for any additional expenses arising from the Winner’s receipt of the Prize. The tax on the Prize income the Winners receive shall be carried out as per the prevailing legislation.

By participating in the Promotion, the Participant acknowledges and agrees that any voluntarily provided information, including personal data, may be processed by the Organizer or third parties engaged by the Organizer to conduct the Promotion and perform all necessary related activities. This includes, but is not limited to, informing Participants about the results of the Promotion through advertising or other means. Participants may also receive further information, particularly of an advertising nature, about subsequent events, competitions, promotions, or raffles organized by the Organizer. By accepting these Terms and Conditions, Participants explicitly consent to processing their personal data by the Organizer and/or other authorized entities. Participants confirm their complete understanding and necessary awareness of the purposes for processing the provided information and the privacy policy, accessible at: https://whitebit.com/privacy-policy.

By participating in the Promotion, Participants confirm their consent to using their surnames and first names without any financial compensation. Participants also agree to comply with all other Terms of the Promotion. Winners additionally confirm their agreement to participate in advertising interviews regarding their participation in the Promotion, including media platforms such as radio and television, and to be photographed to create graphic materials, without receiving any monetary compensation. The Organizer will own all exclusive intellectual property rights to such interviews and photographs.

The Organizer reserves the right to amend or modify the Terms and Conditions of the Promotion. In the event of any such changes, information regarding the modifications will be provided on the WhiteBIT website and the Organizer’s official social media platforms.

The Organizer does not involve itself in resolving disputes that may arise between Participants of the Prize Promotion. In situations where there are ambiguities in the interpretation of these Terms and/or matters that are not specifically addressed by these Terms, the Organizer of the Promotion will make the final decision following the applicable legal requirements. It is essential to recognize that the Organizer’s decision is considered final and is not subject to appeal.

The Organizer of the Promotion is not responsible for the operations or the services of telecommunications companies, postal services, and in particular, e-mail, for any errors of employees of any enterprises/institutions/organizations that ensure the exchange of information and items as mentioned above between the Participants of the Promotion and the Organizer, or the circumstances which may result where the postal items were not received, received late, lost or became damaged.

In case of any discrepancies or inaccuracies arising from translation across multiple languages utilized in the Promotion, the English rendition shall be deemed authoritative and supersede all other versions.
