The Participation Terms for the “Play and Win with WhiteBIT” Promotion

The Organizer of the Promotion is the company WhiteBIT (https://whitebit.com).

Promotion period: from April 18, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. UTC+4 to April 19, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. UTC+4 (until the prizes are still available).

Territory of the Promotion: The promotion is held on the territory of EVN Token2049 Dubai in Dubai, UAE.

The responsibility for ensuring their legal participation by the legislation or regulations of their jurisdiction lies with the Participants. The Organizer reserves the right to verify the Participants’ right to participate and may request confirmation of residence or location if necessary.

The Promotion is held with the primary goal of popularizing the WhiteBIT brand.

The Promotion is not a game of chance, a lottery, a service in the field of gambling business, or a competition. These Terms are not a public promise of reward.

Information about the Promotion is provided based on advertising rights.

The list of countries, whose citizens cannot participate in the Promotion: the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, American Samoa, the Virgin Islands of the United States, Guam, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Republic of Yemen, the State of Libya, the State of Palestine, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Federal Republic of Somalia, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, the United States of America, the Syrian Arab Republic, the Republic of the Sudan, the Republic of South Sudan, the «Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic», the French Republic, the Federal Republic of Germany, the Russian-occupied territories in Georgia, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Western Sahara, Ambazonia, the Republic of Kosovo, Canada, the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation, and the Russian-occupied territories of Ukraine.

Participants of the Promotion can be all adult attendees of the EVN Token2049 Dubai who are not citizens of the forbidden countries mentioned above and who have fulfilled the Main Conditions:

1. Scanned the QR-code on the WhiteBIT brochure at the WhiteBIT booth at EVN Token2049 Dubai;
2. Signed up on WhiteBIT website by the QR-code;

The Participants who have fulfilled the Main Conditions of the Promotion will become Winners and will share the Prize Pool of 200 WhiteBIT branded stickers.

The maximum possible number of the Main Prize Pool Winners is 200.

One Winner can get only one Prize.

Important! While participating in the campaign, you are forbidden to register on the exchange several times (use several accounts). Participants with multiple accounts will be disqualified. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, each Participant may register only once (have only one account). Using multiple accounts (multi-accounts and/or sub-accounts) or cooperating with affiliated users and/or users of Sub-accounts belonging to the Participant to manipulate orders is prohibited. It will result in the closure of all accounts without the owner’s consent. In detecting the creation of several accounts, the Organizer reserves the right to close the second created account and any subsequent multi-accounts.

The Terms of the Promotion must be fulfilled within the Promotion period.

The personal data of the Promotion Participants is processed to ensure participation in the Promotion, marketing relations, advertising relations, tax relations, and relations in the field of accounting.

Employees, representatives, or agents of the Organizer and their relatives (first and second degrees of consanguinity) are not entitled to participate in the Promotion. If, at the time of awarding the Prize, it is established that the person who participated in the Promotion cannot be a Participant of the Promotion in accordance with these Rules, such a person shall not be granted the right to receive the Prize.

Participants who have fulfilled the Additional Conditions can participate in the giveaway of the Additional Prize: 

1. Complete the Main Conditions;
2. Finish the identity verification procedure (KYC) on WhiteBIT by the 24th of April 2024.

One of the Promotion Participants who has fulfilled the Additional Conditions of the Promotion can become a Winner and win an Additional Prize consisting of 200 WBT.

Only one Participant can become a Winner of the Additional Prize.

IMPORTANT! The Promotion may end earlier than the specified term due to the Main Prizes expiration. The promotion lasts as long as there are Prizes in the Main Prize Pool.

The Organizer gives the Main Prize to the Winners immediately after checking for compliance with all the Terms and Conditions at the WhiteBIT booth at EVN Token2049 Dubai.

The Winner of the Additional Prize Pool will be determined on April 26th, 2024, using the random.org service, automatically among all Promotion participants who have fulfilled Additional Conditions of the promotion. The rating determines the Winners (placed in the list on the https://www.random.org/ service).

On April 26th, 2024, the nickname of the Additional Prize Winner will be published in this article on the WhiteBIT blog (https://blog.whitebit.com), as well as a screen recording video of the process of determining the Winner will be posted on the WhiteBIT YouTube channel also on April 26th, 2024.

The Organizer accrues the Additional Prize Pool Prize to the Main Balance of the Additional Prize Pool Winner on the WhiteBIT exchange by April 30th, 2024 inclusively.

Winners of the Additional Prize Pool will be informed about the winnings by email to the email address specified during signing up on the https://whitebit.com website within 5 business days after the Prize have been credited to the Winner’s Main balance on the WhiteBIT exchange.

If the Winners do not comply with these Terms, they will forfeit their right to receive the Prize, and the Winner status will be removed.

The Winner receives the Prize free of charge and without the possibility of exchange. Replacement of the Prize with its monetary equivalent is not foreseen. The Winner of the Promotion has no right to demand any other compensation from the Organizer. The Organizer does not assume any warranty obligations regarding the Prize received within the limits defined by these Terms.

In case of non-receipt of the Main or Special Prize, if the Winner was entitled to it or in case of any other difficulties, the Winner should contact the Organizer representative at the WhiteBIT booth during the EVN Token2049 Dubai by April 19th, 2024 (6:00 p.m. UTC+4).

In case of not receiving the Additional Prize, if the Winner was entitled to it, or in case of any other difficulties, the Winner should contact online support on the https://whitebit.com website, to the email address support@whitebit.com or write to the Organizer’s agents via online chat no later than May 7th, 2024 inclusively. If the Winner does not apply within the specified period, including in the case of non-receipt of the Prize, such Winner loses the right to receive it.

The Winners, determined by the results of the Promotion, do not have the right to transfer the right to receive the Prize to third parties.

The Winner of the Promotion has the right to refuse the Prize.

The Organizer does not compensate the additional expenses of the Winner related to receiving the Prize. Taxation of the income of the Winners who received the Prize is carried out in accordance with the current legislation of the countries of Participants’ citizenship.

By participating in the Promotion, the Participant understands and agrees that any information voluntarily provided by him, including personal data of the Participant, may be processed by the Organizer or third parties engaged by him for the purpose of conducting the Promotion, carrying out all necessary actions related to it (in particular, but not exclusively, informing about the results of the Promotion both in advertising and in other ways), as well as the subsequent possible sending to the Participant of information, in particular, of an advertising nature, about the Organizer’s next events/competitions/promotions/draws. By accepting the requirements of these Terms, Participants hereby consent to the following processing of personal data for the purpose of use by the Organizer and/or other persons authorized by the Organizer and confirm their full understanding and necessary awareness of the purposes of processing the information provided, as well as the privacy policy: https://whitebit.com/privacy-policy.

At the same time, by participating in the Promotion, the Participants of the Promotion confirm their consent to the use of their surnames and names without any financial compensation, as well as their agreement to comply with other rules of the Promotion. The Winners confirm their consent to give promotional interviews about participation in the Promotion in mass media, in particular, on radio and television, as well as to be photographed for the production of graphic materials without paying them any monetary compensation. All exclusive intellectual property rights to such interviews and photographs shall belong to the Promoter.

The Organizer reserves the right to make changes to the terms and conditions of the Promotion. In case of any changes, information about this will be provided on the website https://whitebit.com and on the Organizer’s social networks.

The Organizer does not enter into disputes that may arise between the Participants of the Promotion regarding the Prize. In the event of situations that allow an ambiguous interpretation of these Rules and/or issues not regulated by these Rules, the final decision is made by the Promotion Organizer in accordance with the requirements of prevailing legislation. At the same time, the decision of the Promotion Organizer is final and cannot be appealed.

The Organizer of the Promotion is not responsible for the work of the services of telecommunications companies, postal communication, in particular e-mail, for any errors of the employees of any enterprises/institutions/organizations that ensure the exchange of information between the Participants of the Promotion and the Organizer, or for the circumstances as a result of which postal items did not arrive, arrived late, were lost or damaged; or as a result of which the Promotion Participant did not receive the corresponding Prize.

In the event of any discrepancy or inaccuracy in the translation of the multiple languages used in the Promotion, the English translation shall be deemed valid and shall supersede all other versions.
