Terms and conditions of participation in the “Memecoin Trading Battle” Promotion

The Promotion Organizer is WhiteBIT.

The promotion period is from 4 PM (UTC) September 25, 2024, to 4 PM (UTC) October 11, 2024.

The territory of the Promotion: The promotion is held on the territory of all countries except for theIslamic Emirates of Afghanistan, American Samoa, the US Virgin Islands, Guam, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Republic of Yemen, the State of Libya, the State of Palestine, Freely Associated State of Puerto Rico, Federal Republic of Somalia, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands, United States of America, the Syrian Arab Republic, the Republic of Sudan, the Republic of South Sudan, the “Transnistrian Moldavian Republic”, the French Republic, the Federal Republic of Germany, the temporarily occupied territories of Georgia, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Western Sahara, Ambazonia, the Republic of Kosovo, the Kingdom of Spain, Canada, the Republic Belarus, the Russian Federation, temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

The Participants are responsible for ensuring that their participation is not prohibited or restricted by the laws or regulations of their jurisdiction. The Organizer reserves the right to check the eligibility of Participants to participate in the Promotion and may ask for proof of residence or location, if necessary.

The promotion is held to popularize WhiteBIT services.

The promotion is not a game of chance, a lottery, a service in the gaming business, or a contest, and these Terms do not offer a public promise of reward.

Information about the Promotion is provided on the basis of advertising rights.

Participants of the Promotion are adult citizens of non-prohibited countries (that is, all, except those mentioned above) or other persons who are legally present in the territory of such countries who have fulfilled the following Conditions:

1. Registered for the first time on the WhiteBIT website https://whitebit.com or are already registered users of the WhiteBIT exchange and have passed the verification procedure (KYC);
2. Clicked the “Participate” button on the Promotion page;
3. Traded MEME/USDT, PEPE/USDT, FLOKI/USDT, WIF/USDT, BONK/USDT, BANANA/USDT on the spot market pairs during the Promotion Period, with a minimum trading volume equivalent to 5,000 USDT.

WARNING!

The leaderboard is a ranking table of the Promotion Participants, formed according to the trading volume (where the Participant with the largest trading volume takes the first place), which is updated every 30 minutes. The final data on the volume of trades will be collected at 16:00 (UTC) on 10/11/2024.

The trading volume of the Promotion Participants will be counted only for trading pairs MEME/USDT, PEPE/USDT, FLOKI/USDT, WIF/USDT, BONK/USDT, BANANA/USDT on the spot market.

The trading volume is calculated as the total amount of all buy and sell orders executed by the Participant in specified trading pairs during the Promotion Period.

The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify the Participant if he:

• Uses wash trading (executes own orders);
• Uses 0% trading fee accounts (except for special trading fee discounts given to WhiteBIT Coin (WBT) holders and VIP level users);
• Uses API bots;
• Uses a corporate account (for example, created for exchange services);
• Uses multiple accounts (only one account per Member is allowed);
• Conducts any other illegal activity contrary to the User Agreement, AML Policy, or WhiteBIT Privacy Policy.

Important!During participation in the Promotion, it is forbidden to register on the exchange several times (use several accounts). Entrants with multiple accounts will be disqualified. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, each Participant may register only once (have only one account). The use of multiple accounts (multi-accounts and/or sub-accounts) or cooperation with affiliated users and/or with users of sub-accounts belonging to the Participant to manipulate orders is prohibited and will result in the closure of all accounts without the consent of the owner. In case of detection of the creation of multiple accounts, the Organizer reserves the right to close the second created account and any subsequent multi-accounts.

The conditions of the Promotion must be fulfilled during the period of its duration.

Any personal data of the Promotion Participants is processed to ensure participation in the Promotion, marketing relations, advertising relations, tax relations, and relations in the accounting field.

Employees, representatives, or agents of the Organizer and their relatives (first and second degree of consanguinity) are not entitled to participate in the Promotion. If, at the time of awarding the Prize, it is established that the person who participated in the Promotion cannot be a Participant of the Promotion by these Rules, such a person loses the right to receive the Prize.

The first 20 Participants of the Promotion in the leaderboard who fulfill the Promotion Terms and achieve the highest trading volume (minimum 5,000 USDT) during the Promotion Period have the opportunity to become Winners and win one of the Prizes of the Prize Fund, which is 1,000 USDT, which will be distributed as follows :

1st place — 400 USDT;

2nd place — 200 USDT;

3rd place — 100 USDT;

4th–5th places — 50 USDT each;

6th–10th places — 20 USDT each;

11th–20th places — 10 USDT each.

The maximum possible number of Winners who can win a Prize from the Prize Fund is 20 people.

One Winner may receive only one Prize.

Based on the results of the Promotion, the Organizer will automatically form a list of Promotion Participants who have fulfilled the Promotion Terms at 16:00 (UTC) 10/11/2024, according to the volume of the Promotion Participants’ trades at the time of its completion, which will be available in the Leaderboard.

The Winners of the Promotion will be determined on 10/24/2024. The winners will be 20 Participants who fulfilled all the Promotion Terms and had the largest trading volume, but not less than 5,000 USDT, in the pairs MEME/USDT, PEPE/USDT, FLOKI/USDT, WIF/USDT, BONK/USDT, and BANANA/USDT on the spot market at the moment of the Promotion’s completion, in accordance with the rating formed in the Leaderboard.

The list of winners will be published in this article on 10/24/2024.

The Organizer shall credit the Prizes to the main balances of the Winners on the WhiteBIT exchange within 7 business days from the next calendar day after the publication of the list of Winners.

Winners of the Promotion will be informed about the accrual of the Prize by letter to the e-mail address specified during registration on the website https://whitebit.com/, within 5 business days after the Prizes accrual.

If, after the Winners are determined, it is found that a Participant did not properly meet the Promotion Terms or violated the Promotion Rules or User Agreement, that Winner will forfeit their Prize and Winner status. In this case, the Prize and Winner status will be awarded to the next highest-ranking Participant in the Tournament Table based on trading volume in pairs MEME/USDT, PEPE/USDT, FLOKI/USDT, WIF/USDT, BONK/USDT, BANANA/USDT on the spot market. For example, if the third-place Participant is disqualified, their Prize will go to the fourth-place Participant.

The Winner receives the Prize free of charge, with no option to exchange it for its monetary equivalent. The Winner cannot request any other compensation from the Organizer.

If a Winner does not receive their Prize or encounters any issues, they should contact online support at https://whitebit.com or email support@whitebit.com no later than 11/09/2024. Failure to do so by this date will result in the Winner losing their right to claim the Prize.

The received Prize cannot be exchanged or returned.

Winners determined by the results of the Promotion may not transfer the right to receive the Prize to third parties.

The winner of the Promotion has the right to refuse the Prize.

The Organizer bears no warranty obligations regarding the Prize received within the scope of this Promotion and under the conditions specified in these Rules.

The Organizer does not compensate the additional expenses of the Winner related to receiving the Prize. Taxation of the income of the Winners who received the Prize is carried out in accordance with the current legislation of the Participating countries.

By participating in the Promotion, the Participant understands and agrees that any information voluntarily provided by him, including personal data of the Participant, may be processed by the Organizer or third parties engaged by him for the purpose of conducting the Promotion, carrying out all necessary actions related to it (in particular, but not exclusively, informing about the results of the Promotion both in advertising and in other ways), as well as the subsequent possible sending to the Participant of information, in particular of an advertising nature, about the Organizer’s next events/contests/promotions/draws. By accepting the requirements of these Terms and Conditions, Participants hereby consent to such processing of personal data for the purpose of use by the Organizer and/or other persons authorized by the Organizer and confirm their full understanding and necessary awareness of the purposes of processing the information provided, as well as the privacy policy: https://whitebit.com/ua/privacy-policy.

At the same time, by participating in the Promotion, the Participants of the Promotion confirm their consent to the use of their surnames and names without any financial compensation, as well as their agreement to comply with other Promotion Rules. The winners confirm their consent to give promotional interviews about participation in the Promotion in mass media, in particular on radio and television, as well as to be photographed for the production of graphic materials without paying them any monetary compensation. All exclusive intellectual property rights to such interviews and photographs shall belong to the Promoter.

The organizer reserves the right to make changes to the terms and conditions of the Promotion. In case of any changes, information about this will be provided on the website https://whitebit.com and on the Organizer’s social networks.

The Organizer does not enter into disputes that may arise between the Participants of the Promotion regarding the Prize. In the event of situations that allow an ambiguous interpretation of these Rules and/or issues not regulated by these Rules, the final decision is made by the Promotion Organizer in accordance with the requirements of the current legislation of the Participating countries. At the same time, the decision of the Promotion Organizer is final and cannot be appealed.

The Organizer of the Promotion is not responsible for the work of the services of telecommunications companies, postal communication, in particular e-mail, for any errors of the employees of any enterprises/institutions/organizations that ensure the exchange of information between the Participants of the Promotion and the Organizer.

In the event of any discrepancy or inaccuracy in the translation of the multiple languages ​​used in the Promotion, the English translation shall be deemed valid and shall supersede all other versions.
