Terms and Conditions of the “Hold and Win with LEKS: Round 1” Promotion
The Organizer of the Promotion is WhiteBIT (https://whitebit.com).
The Promotion period is from 1 PM (UTC) on October 3, 2024, to 1 PM (UTC) on October 10, 2024.
The territory of the Promotion: All countries of the world except Afghanistan, American Samoa, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, Iran, Yemen, Libya, Palestine, Puerto Rico, Somalia, North Korea, the Northern Mariana Islands, the USA, Republic of Türkiye, Canada, Syria, Sudan, South Sudan, «Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic,» the temporarily occupied territories of Georgia, «Republic of Artsakh,» Northern Cyprus, Western Sahara, Ambazonia, Kosovo, Republic of Belarus, Russian Federation and the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
The Participants are responsible for ensuring that their participation is not prohibited or restricted by the laws or regulations of their jurisdiction. The Organizer reserves the right to verify the eligibility of Participants to participate in the Promotion and may request proof of residence or location, if necessary.
The Promotion is held with the primary objective of promoting the services provided by WhiteBIT.

The Promotion is not a game of chance, a lottery, a service in the field of gambling business, or a contest; these Terms are not a public promise of reward.
Information about the Promotion is provided based on advertising rights.
Participants of the Promotion are adult citizens of non-banned countries (i.e., all except those mentioned above) or other persons legally residing in the territory of such countries who have fulfilled the following Terms and Conditions:
- Signed up for the first time for the WhiteBIT website or are already registered users of the WhiteBIT exchange and have passed the KYC verification procedure;
- During the Promotion period, purchased at least 15,000 LEKS and held at least 15,000 LEKS in their Main or Trade balance on the WhiteBIT exchange until the Winner is announced on October 18, 2024.
The terms and conditions of the Promotion must be fulfilled within the terms of its implementation.
Any personal data of the Promotion Participants is processed to ensure participation in the Promotion, marketing relations, advertising relations, tax relations, and accounting relations.
Employees, representatives, or agents of the Organizer and their relatives (first and second degree of kinship) are not eligible to participate in the Promotion. If, at the moment of providing the Prize, it is established that the person who participated in the Promotion cannot be a Promotion Participant in accordance with these Rules, such person shall not be entitled to receive the Prize.
Participants who have fulfilled all the Promotion Terms can become Winners and win a part of the Prize Fund, which is 72,000 LEKS that will be distributed evenly among the Winners.
The maximum possible number of Promotion Winners is 8 persons.
One Winner can receive only one Prize.
According to the results of the Promotion from October 10, 2024, to October 18, 2024, the Organizer forms a list of Participants who have fulfilled the Promotion Terms.
IMPORTANT!
- The Organizer adds the Participant’s nickname to the list of Participants according to the number of LEKS on his/her Main or Trade Balance. For each additional 15,000 LEKS (in addition to the minimum amount of LEKS specified in the Terms and Conditions of the Promotion), the Organizer will add the Participant’s nickname to the list as many times as the additional amount is reached.
- One Participant’s nickname can be included in the list of Participants at least 1 but not more than 30 times.
- The maximum possible amount on a Participant’s Main or Trade Balance that affects his/her placement in the list of Participants is 150,000 LEKS. Participants can keep the amount exceeding 150,000 LEKS on their Main or Trade Balance, but the maximum LEKS will be taken into account within this Promotion.
IMPORTANT! While participating in the Promotion, it is forbidden to register on the exchange several times (use several accounts). Participants with multiple accounts will be disqualified. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, each Participant may register only once (have only one account). The use of multiple accounts (multi-accounts) or cooperation with affiliated users to manipulate orders is prohibited and will result in the closure of all accounts without the owner’s consent. In case of detecting the creation of multiple accounts, the Organizer reserves the right to close the second created account and any subsequent multi-accounts.
The Winners of the Promotion will be determined on October 18, 2024, using the random.org service, automatically among all Promotion Participants who have fulfilled its conditions. Winners are determined by rating (place in the list on the service https://www.random.org/).
The list of the Winners and their nicknames will be published on October 18, 2024, in this article on the WhiteBIT blog (https://blog.whitebit.com/), and a video with a screen recording of the Winners’ determination process will be published on the WhiteBIT YouTube channel.
The Organizer will credit the Prizes to the Winners’ Main Balances on the WhiteBIT crypto exchange within 5 business days from the next business day after the Winner is determined (October 18, 2024).
The Winners of the Promotion will be informed about the Prize award by a letter to the e-mail address specified during the registration on https://whitebit.com/ within 5 business days after the Prize award.
If the Winners cannot be contacted or fail to comply with these Rules, such Winners shall lose their right to the Winners’ status, and such right shall be transferred to the next Winner in the list.
The Winners receive the Prize free of charge. No replacement of the Prize with its cash equivalent is provided. The Winners of the Promotion have no right to demand any other compensation from the Organizer.
The received Prize is not subject to exchange and refund.
The Organizer does not bear any warranty obligations regarding the Prize received within this Promotion and under the conditions specified in these Rules.
In case of non-receipt of the Prize, if the Winner was entitled to it, or in case of any other difficulties, the Winner must contact online support at https://whitebit.com, by e-mail support@whitebit.com or via chat no later than November 2, 2024, inclusive. If the Winner does not contact the support by November 2, 2024, in particular, regarding the issues of not receiving the Prize, the Winner loses the right to receive it.
The Winner determined by the results of the Promotion may not transfer the right to receive the Prize to third parties.
The Winner has the right to refuse the Prize.
The Organizer does not compensate the Winner’s additional expenses related to receiving the Prize. Taxation of the Winner’s income who received the Prize is carried out in accordance with the current legislation of the Winners’ country.
The Organizer does not compensate for the additional expenses of the Winner related to the receipt of the Prize. Taxation of the income of the Winners who received the Prize is carried out in accordance with the current legislation of the countries of Participants.
By participating in the Promotion, the Participant understands and agrees that any information voluntarily provided by him, including the Participant’s personal data, may be processed by the Organizer or third parties involved by him. The information may be processed to conduct the Promotion, to carry out all necessary actions related to it (including, but not exclusively, informing about the Promotion results both in advertising and in another way), as well as further possible sending of information to the Participant, including of an advertising nature, about the following events/competitions/promotions/draws of the Organizer. By accepting the requirements of these Terms, the Participants hereby consent to such processing of personal data for use by the Organizer and/or other persons authorized by the Organizer and confirm their full understanding and necessary awareness of the purposes of processing the information provided, as well as the privacy policy: https://whitebit.com/privacy-policy.
At the same time, by their participation in the Promotion, the Participants of the Promotion confirm their consent to the use of their surnames and names without financial compensation, as well as their agreement to comply with other Conditions of the Promotion. The Winners confirm their consent to provide advertising interviews about participation in the Promotion in the media, including on radio and television, as well as to be photographed for producing graphic materials without paying them any monetary compensation. All exclusive intellectual property rights to such interviews and photographs will belong to the Organizer.
The Organizer reserves the right to change the Terms and Conditions of the Promotion. In case of any changes, information about this will be provided on the https://whitebit.com website and Organizer’s social networks.
The Organizer does not enter into disputes that may arise between the Promotion’s Participants concerning the Prize. In situations that allow an ambiguous interpretation of these Terms and/or issues not regulated by these Terms, the Organizer of the Promotion makes the final decision in accordance with the requirements of the current legislation of the countries of Participants. In this case, the decision of the Organizer of the Promotion is final and not subject to appeal.
In case of situations that allow for ambiguous interpretation of these Rules and/or issues not regulated by these Rules, the final decision shall be made by the Organizer of the Promotion in accordance with the requirements of the applicable laws of the Participants’ countries. In this case, the decision of the Promotion Organizer is final and not subject to appeal.
The Organizer of the Promotion is not responsible for the operation of the services of telecommunications companies, postal communication, in particular e-mail, for any errors of the employees of any enterprises/institutions/organizations that ensure the exchange of information between the Participants of the Promotion and the Organizer, or the circumstances as a result of which postal items did not arrive, arrived late, were lost or damaged; or as a result of which the Promotion Participant did not receive the corresponding Prize.
