Terms of participation in the “Community Choice with DEFI” Promo
The Promotion is organized by WhiteBIT (https://whitebit.com/).
Promotion period: from 15:00 UTC February 24, 2025, to 15:00 UTC March 4, 2025.
Territory of the Promotion: The Promotion is held in all countries except American Samoa, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Republic of Yemen, the State of Libya, the State of Palestine, the Freely Associated State of Puerto Rico, the Federal Republic of Somalia, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, the United States of America, Austria, the Syrian Arab Republic, the Republic of Sudan, the Republic of South Sudan, the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, the French Republic, the Federal Republic of Germany, the temporarily occupied territories of Georgia, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Western Sahara, Ambazonia, the Republic of Kosovo, the Kingdom of Spain, Canada, the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation, and the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
It is the responsibility of the Participants to ensure that their participation is not prohibited or restricted by the laws or regulations of their jurisdiction. The Organizer reserves the right to check the eligibility of the Participants for participation in the Promotion and may ask for proof of residence or location, if necessary.
The Promotion is held to popularize the WhiteBIT brand.

The Promotion is not a gambling game, lottery, gambling service or contest; these Terms and Conditions are not a public promise of reward.
Information about the Promotion is provided based on advertising.
Participants of the Promotion are adult citizens of non-banned countries (i.e., except for the above-mentioned countries) or other adult persons who are legally residing in such countries and have fulfilled the Main Conditions of the Promotion:
- Already be registered users and have passed KYC verification at the moment of the Promotion start;
- Subscribed to the DEFI Telegram channel;
- Left a comment in X under the post about DEFI’s upcoming listing;
- Filled out a Google form, indicating their nickname on the WhiteBIT exchange, their nickname in Telegram and X, and a link to their comment under the post on X;
- Purchased at least 5,200 DEFI on WhiteBIT exchange within the period from February 28, 2025, till 15:00 UTC on March 4, 2025.
The Participants of the Promotion are also adult citizens of non-banned countries (i.e., except for the above-mentioned countries) or other adult persons who are legally present in the territory of such countries and have fulfilled the Special Conditions of the Promotion:
- Registered on WhiteBIT exchange for the first time and confirmed their identity (KYC) during the Promotion period;
- Subscribed to the WhiteBIT Telegram channel;
- Left a comment in X under the post about the upcoming DEFI listing;
- Filled out a Google form with their nickname on WhiteBIT exchange, their nickname in Telegram and X, and a link to their comment under the post in X;
- Purchased at least 5,200 DEFI on WhiteBIT exchange within the period from February 28, 2025, till 15:00 UTC on March 4, 2025.
IMPORTANT! While participating in the Promotion, it is forbidden to register on the exchange several times (use several accounts). Participants with multiple accounts will be disqualified. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, each Participant may register only once (have only one account). The use of multiple accounts (multi-accounts and/or sub-accounts) or cooperation with affiliated users and/or users of sub-accounts belonging to the Participant for manipulating orders is prohibited and will result in the closure of all accounts without the owner’s consent. In case of detecting the creation of several accounts, the Organizer reserves the right to close the second created account and any subsequent multi-accounts.
The Conditions of the Promotion must be fulfilled during its Period.
Any personal data of Participants is processed to ensure participation in the Promotion, for marketing relations, advertising relations, tax relations, and accounting relations.
B2B representatives, employees, representatives, or agents of the Organizer and their relatives (first and second degree of kinship) are not eligible to participate in the Promotion. If, at the time of awarding a Prize, it is established that a Participant does not meet the requirements of these Terms, such a person will not be entitled to receive the Prize.
Promotion Participants who fulfill the Main Conditions of the Promotion have an opportunity to become Winners and win a part of the Main Prize Pool, which amounts to 60,000 DEFI—3,000 DEFI for each Winner.
The maximum possible number of Winners who will receive Prizes from the Main Prize Pool is 20 people.
The Promotion Participants who fulfill the Special Conditions of the Promotion have an opportunity to become the Winners and win a part of the Special Prize Pool, which amounts to 60,000 DEFI—3,000 DEFI for each Winner.
Important!Users who have already registered on WhiteBIT crypto exchange before the start of the Promotion cannot fulfill the Special Conditions to become Winners and receive a prize from the Special Prize Pool.
The maximum possible number of Winners who will receive the Prizes from the Special Prize Pool is 20 people.
One Winner can receive only one Prize: either from the Main or the Special Prize Pool.
Based on the Promotion results, the Organizer shall form two lists of Participants from March 4, 2025, to March 17, 2025, inclusive: the main one, which includes the Participants who have fulfilled the Main Conditions of the Promotion, and the Special one, which includes the Participants who have fulfilled the Special Conditions of the Promotion.
The Winners of the Promotion will be determined on March 17, 2025, using the random.org service, automatically, among all Promotion Participants who have fulfilled the Promotion Conditions and are included in the Lists of Participants.
First, 20 Winners will be selected from the Main List to receive a prize from the Main Prize Pool; after that, 20 Winners will be selected from the Special List to receive a Special Prize.
The Winners are determined by the rating (place in the list on the service,https://www.random.org/). The lists of the Winners will be published in this article on March 17, 2025. The video with the selection of the Winners will be published on March 17, 2025, on the WhiteBIT YouTube channel.
The Organizer shall credit the Prizes to the Winners’ Main balances on WhiteBIT exchange until March 26, 2025, inclusive.
The Winners of the Promotion will be informed about the Prizes credited by a letter to the email address specified during the registration onhttps://whitebit.com/ within five business days after they are credited to the Winners’ Main balances on WhiteBIT exchange.
The Winner receives the Prize free of charge. The Prize will not be replaced with its cash equivalent. The Winner of the Promotion has no right to demand any other compensation from the Organizer.
The received Prize is not subject to exchange and refund.
The Organizer does not bear any warranty obligations for the Prize received within this Promotion and under the conditions specified in these Terms and Conditions.
In case of non-receipt of the Prize, if the Winner was entitled to it or in case of any other difficulties, the Winner must contact online support at https://whitebit.com, by e-mail support@whitebit.com or via chat no later than April 2, 2025, inclusive. In case the Winner does not contact the support by April 2, 2025, in particular, regarding the issues of not receiving the Prize, the Winner loses the right to receive it.
The Winners determined by the results of the Promotion may not transfer the right to receive the Prize to third parties.
The Winner has the right to refuse the Prize.
The Organizer does not compensate the Winner’s additional expenses related to receiving the Prize. Income taxation of the Winners who receive the Prize is carried out in accordance with the current legislation of the Participants’ countries.
By participating in the Promotion, the Participant understands and agrees that any information voluntarily provided by them, including the Participant’s personal data, may be processed by the Organizer or third parties involved to conduct the Promotion, perform all necessary actions related to it (including, but not limited to, informing about the Promotion results both in advertising and in other ways), as well as to send the Participant information, in particular, of an advertising nature, about the following events/contests/promotions/giveaways of the Organizer. By accepting the requirements of these Terms and Conditions, the Participants hereby consent to such processing of personal data for the purpose of use by the Organizer and/or other persons authorized by the Organizer and confirm their full understanding and necessary awareness of the purposes of processing the information provided, as well as the privacy policy: https://whitebit.com/privacy-policy.
At the same time, by participating in the Promotion, the Promotion Participants confirm their consent to the use of their names and surnames without any material compensation, as well as their agreement to comply with other Promotion Terms and Conditions. The Winners confirm their consent to give promotional interviews about their participation in the Promotion in the media, in particular, on radio and television, as well as to be photographed for the production of graphic materials without any monetary compensation. All exclusive intellectual property rights to such interviews and photos will belong to the Organizer.
The Organizer reserves the right to change the Promotion’s Terms and Conditions. Information about any changes will be provided on the Organizer’s website, https://whitebit.com.
The Organizer does not enter into disputes that may arise between the Promotion Participants regarding the Prize. In situations that allow for ambiguous interpretation of these Terms and/or issues not regulated by these Terms, the Promotion Organizer shall make the final decision in accordance with the requirements of the applicable law. At the same time, the decision of the Promotion Organizer is final and not subject to appeal.
The Promotion Organizer is not responsible for the work of telecommunication companies, postal services, including email, for any mistakes of employees of any enterprises/institutions/organizations that provide information exchange between the Promotion Participants and the Organizer, or circumstances due to which mail items were not received, received late, lost or damaged; or as a result of which the Promotion Participant did not receive the corresponding Prize.
In case of any discrepancies or inaccuracies related to the translation into several languages used in the Promotion, the English translation shall be considered valid and shall supersede all other versions.
