Terms and Conditions of Participation in the “Community Choice with Hacken Token” Promotion
The Organizer of the Promotion is WhiteBIT (https://whitebit.com/).
The Promotion period will last from December 20, 2 PM (UTC) to December 27, 6 PM (UTC).
The territory of the Promotion: the Promotion takes place in all countries except the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, American Samoa, the US Virgin Islands, Guam, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Republic of Yemen, the State of Libya, the State of Palestine, Freely Associated State of Puerto Rico, Federal Republic of Somalia, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands, United States of America, the Syrian Arab Republic, the Republic of Sudan, the Republic of South Sudan, the “Transnistrian Moldavian Republic”, the French Republic, the Federal Republic of Germany, the temporarily occupied territories of Georgia, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Western Sahara, Ambazonia, the Republic of Kosovo, the Kingdom of Spain, Canada, the Republic Belarus, the Russian Federation, temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
Participants must ensure that their participation is not prohibited or restricted by the laws or regulations of their jurisdiction. The Organizer reserves the right to verify the eligibility of Participants and may request proof of residency or location if necessary.
The Promotion is organized with the primary objective of promoting the WhiteBIT brand.
For any inquiries or communication with the Organizer, Participants may contact the Organizer directly via email at support@whitebit.com or via chat on the official website at https://whitebit.com.
The Promotion is not considered a game of chance, lottery, gambling service, or contest. These Terms and Conditions do not represent a public commitment to reward Participants.
Information about the Promotion is communicated in accordance with the Organizer’s advertising rights.
Participants of the Promotion must be adults (individuals who have reached the legal age) from non-restricted countries (i.e., those not listed in the excluded territories) or other individuals legally residing in such countries.
They must meet the Main Conditions:
- Already registered users of the WhiteBIT exchange who have completed KYC verification.
- Subscribed to the Hacken Token Telegram channel.
- Left a comment on the X post about the HAI upcoming listing on the WhiteBIT exchange from the account specified in the form.
- Filled out the Google form, providing their nickname on the WhiteBIT exchange, Telegram and X nicknames, and a link to their comment under the X post.
- Purchased a minimum of 500 HAI on the WhiteBIT exchange (from December 26, 13:00 UTC, to December 27, 18:00 UTC).
Participants of the Promotion may also include adults (individuals who have reached the legal age) from non-restricted countries or individuals legally residing in such territories who meet the Additional Conditions:
- Registered on the WhiteBIT exchange for the first time using the provided link and verified their identity (KYC) during the Promotion Period.
- Subscribed to the WhiteBIT Telegram channel.
- Left a comment on the X post about the upcoming HAI listing on the WhiteBIT exchange from the account specified in the form.
- Filled out the Google form, providing their nickname on the WhiteBIT exchange, Telegram and X nicknames, and a link to their comment under the X post.
- Purchased a minimum of 500 HAI on the WhiteBIT exchange (from December 26, 13:00 UTC, to December 27, 18:00 UTC).
IMPORTANT! While participating in the Campaign, it is forbidden to register on the exchange several times (use several accounts). Participants with multiple accounts will be disqualified. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, each Participant may register only once (have only one account). The use of multiple accounts (multi-accounts and/or Sub-Accounts) or cooperation with affiliated users and/or users of Sub-Accounts belonging to the Participant for manipulating orders is prohibited and will result in the closure of all accounts without the owner’s consent. In case of detecting the creation of several accounts, the Organizer reserves the right to close the second created account and any subsequent multi-accounts.
The Conditions of the Promotion must be met within the designated time frame of its duration.
The personal data of participants in the Promotion will be processed to ensure their participation and establish marketing, advertising, tax, and accounting relations.
Participants who are employees, representatives, or agents of the Organizer and their relatives (up to the second degree of kinship) are ineligible to participate in the Promotion. If, when awarding the Prize, it is determined that Participants do not meet the eligibility criteria set forth in these Terms, they will not be entitled to receive the Prize.
Participants of the Promotion who have fulfilled the Main Conditions of the Promotion have the opportunity to become Winners and win a part of the Main Prize Fund, which is 5500 HAI — 275 HAI for each Winner.
The maximum possible number of Winners who will receive Prizes from the Main Prize Fund is 20 people.
Participants of the Promotion who have fulfilled the Additional Conditions of the Promotion have the opportunity to become Winners and win a part of the Additional Prize Fund, which is 5500 HAI — 275 HAI for each Winner.
Importantly! Users already registered on the WhiteBIT crypto exchange before the start of the Promotion cannot fulfill the Additional Conditions, become Winners, or receive a Prize from the Additional Prize Fund.
The maximum possible number of Winners who will receive Prizes from the Additional Prize Fund is 20 people.
One Winner can receive only one Prize: either from the Main Prize Fund or the Additional Prize Fund.
Based on the Promotion results from December 27, 2024, to January 9, 2025, inclusive, the Organizer will form two lists of Participants:
- Main List — containing Participants who fulfilled the Main Conditions of the Promotion;
- Additional List — containing Participants who fulfilled the Additional Conditions of the Promotion.
The Winners of the Promotion will be determined automatically using the random.org service on January 9, 2025, among all Participants who met the Promotion Conditions and were included in the Participant Lists.
First, 20 Winners will be selected from the Participants in the Main List to receive Prizes from the Main Prize Fund. Afterward, 20 Winners will be selected from the Additional List to receive Prizes from the Additional Prize Fund.
Winners are determined based on their ranking (placement in the list on the service https://www.random.org/). The list of Winners will be published in this article on January 9, 2025, and a video of the Winner selection will be published on the WhiteBIT YouTube channel on the same date.
The Organizer will credit the Prizes to the Main Balances of the Winners on the WhiteBIT exchange by 20 January 2025, inclusive.
Winners of the Promotion will be notified about their Prize via email sent to the address provided during registration on https://whitebit.com/ within 5 business days after the Prizes are credited to the Winners’ accounts.
The Winner receives the Prize free of charge. The Prize is non-replaceable, and the Promotion Winner is not entitled to demand any additional compensation from the Organizer.
The received Prize cannot be exchanged or returned.
The Organizer bears no warranty obligations for the Prize received within the ambit of this Promotion and under the conditions specified in these Terms.
Suppose the Winners do not receive the Prize, assuming they were eligible for it, or encounter any other difficulties. In that case, the Winners must contact online support at https://whitebit.com, email support@whitebit.com, or engage in a chat conversation by no later than January 27, 2025, inclusively. If the Winners fail to make contact regarding the issue of non-receipt of the Prize by the specified date, they will forfeit their right to receive the Prize.
Winners determined by the Promotion results cannot transfer the rights to receive the Prize to any third parties.
The Winner of the Promotion has the right to refuse the Prize.
By participating in the Promotion, the Participant understands and agrees that any information voluntarily provided by him, including the Participant’s personal data, may be processed by the Organizer or third parties involved by him. The information may be processed to conduct the Promotion, to carry out all necessary actions related to it (including, but not exclusively, informing about the Promotion results both in advertising and in another way), as well as further possible sending of information to the Participant, including of an advertising nature, about the following events/competitions/promotions/draws of the Organizer. By accepting the requirements of these Terms, the Participants hereby consent to such processing of personal data for use by the Organizer and/or other persons authorized by the Organizer and confirm their full understanding and necessary awareness of the purposes of processing the information provided, as well as the privacy policy: https://whitebit.com/privacy-policy.
At the same time, by their participation in the Promotion, the Participants of the Promotion confirm their consent to the use of their surnames and names without financial compensation, as well as their agreement to comply with other Conditions of the Promotion. The Winners confirm their consent to provide advertising interviews about participation in the Promotion in the media, including on radio and television, as well as to be photographed for producing graphic materials without paying them any monetary compensation. All exclusive intellectual property rights to such interviews and photographs will belong to the Organizer.
The Organizer reserves the right to change the Terms and Conditions of the Promotion. In case of any changes, information about this will be provided on the https://whitebit.com website and Organizer’s social networks.
The Organizer does not enter into disputes that may arise between the Promotion’s Participants concerning the Prize. In situations that allow an ambiguous interpretation of these Terms and/or issues not regulated by these Terms, the Organizer of the Promotion makes the final decision in accordance with the requirements of the current legislation of the countries of Participants. In this case, the decision of the Organizer of the Promotion is final and not subject to appeal.
The Organizer of the Promotion is not responsible for the operation of the services of telecommunications companies, postal communication, in particular e-mail, for any errors of the employees of any enterprises/institutions/organizations that ensure the exchange of information between the Participants of the Promotion and the Organizer, or the circumstances as a result of which postal items did not arrive, arrived late, were lost or damaged; or as a result of which the Promotion Participant did not receive the corresponding Prize.
In case of any discrepancy or inaccuracy in the translation of the multiple languages used in the Promotion, the English translation shall be deemed valid and supersede all other versions.
