Terms of Participation in the “Q&A with DRIP” Promotion
The Organizer of the Promotion is WhiteBIT.
Promotion Period: From 3 PM (UTC) on December 19, 2024, to 8 PM (UTC) on December 20, 2024.
Promotion Territory: The Promotion is held in all countries except the following: Islamic Emirates of Afghanistan, American Samoa, U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, Islamic Republic of Iran, Republic of Yemen, State of Libya, State of Palestine, freely associated state of Puerto Rico, Federal Republic of Somalia, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, United States of America, Syrian Arab Republic, Republic of Sudan, Republic of South Sudan, “Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic,” French Republic, Federal Republic of Germany, temporarily occupied territories of Georgia, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Western Sahara, Ambazonia, Republic of Kosovo, Canada, Republic of Belarus, Russian Federation, and temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
It is the Participant’s responsibility to ensure that their participation is not prohibited or restricted by the laws or regulations of their jurisdiction. The Organizer reserves the right to verify the eligibility of Participants and may request proof of residence or location if necessary.
The Promotion is conducted to promote the WhiteBIT brand.
The Organizer can be contacted via email at support@whitebit.com or through the chat function on the website https://whitebit.com.
The Promotion is not a game of chance, lottery, gambling service, or contest, and these Terms are not a public promise of reward.
Information about the Promotion is provided for advertising purposes.
Participants of the Promotion can be adults who are citizens of eligible countries (i.e., excluding the above-mentioned countries) or other persons legally residing in such countries, who meet the following Terms:
- Registered for the first time on the WhiteBIT website or are already registered users who have completed identity verification (KYC) on the WhiteBIT crypto exchange;
- During the Promotion Period, submitted their questions to the DRIP representative, as well as their WhiteBIT exchange nicknames, using the provided Google form link.
The Terms of the Promotion must be fulfilled within its specified period.
IMPORTANT! Participation in the Promotion prohibits multiple registrations on the exchange (using multiple accounts). Participants with multiple accounts will be disqualified. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, each Participant may register only once (i.e., have only one account). The use of multiple accounts (multi-accounts and/or sub-accounts), collaboration with affiliated users, and/or sub-account users owned by the Participant to manipulate the Terms of the Promotion is prohibited and will result in the closure of all accounts without the owner’s consent. In case multiple accounts are detected, the Organizer reserves the right to close the second account and any subsequent multi-accounts.
Any personal data of Participants is processed to ensure participation in the Promotion, marketing relationships, advertising relationships, tax relations, and accounting purposes.
Employees, representatives, or agents of the Organizer, as well as their relatives (first and second degrees of kinship), are not eligible to participate in the Promotion. If it is determined at the time of awarding the Prize that the person who participated in the Promotion is ineligible according to these Rules, such a person will not be entitled to receive the Prize.
Participants who meet all the Terms of the Promotion will have the opportunity to become Winners and win a share of the Prize Pool of 1,800 DRIP.
The Prize Pool will be evenly distributed among the Winners of the Promotion—180 DRIP each.
The maximum number of Winners of the Promotion is 10 people.
One Winner can receive only one Prize.
Based on the results of the Promotion, during the period from December 20, 2024, to December 23, 2024 (inclusive), the Organizer will compile a list of Participants who met the Terms of the Promotion. From this list, the Organizer will select the 10 most interesting questions, in its opinion, to be asked to the DRIP representative during a live broadcast on X at 1 PM (UTC) on December 23, 2024. The authors of these questions will automatically become the Winners of the Promotion.
A list of Winners, including their WhiteBIT exchange nicknames, will be published in this blog article on the WhiteBIT website on December 26, 2024.
The Organizer will credit the Prizes to the Main Balances of the Winners on the WhiteBIT exchange within 7 business days after the Winners are announced.
Winners will be informed about the Prize credits via email to the address provided during registration on https://whitebit.com, within 5 business days after the Prizes are credited to the Winners’ Main Balances on the WhiteBIT exchange.
The Winner receives the Prize free of charge. The Prize cannot be exchanged for its monetary equivalent. The Winner of the Promotion is not entitled to demand any other compensation from the Organizer.
The received Prize is non-exchangeable and non-refundable.
The Organizer does not provide any warranty obligations regarding the Prize received under this Promotion and on the terms defined in these Rules.
In case of failure to receive the Prize, if the Winner was entitled to it, or in the event of any other difficulties, the Winner must contact online support at the website https://whitebit.com, via email at support@whitebit.com, or in the chat no later than January 13, 2025, inclusive. If the Winner does not address the issue of failing to receive the Prize by the specified date, they forfeit their right to the Prize.
Winners determined based on the results of the Promotion cannot transfer their rights to receive the Prize to third parties.
The Winner of the Promotion has the right to refuse the Prize.
The Organizer does not reimburse the Winner for any additional expenses related to receiving the Prize. Taxation of the Winners’ income, who have received the Prize, is carried out in accordance with the applicable legislation of the Participants’ countries.
By participating in the Promotion, the Participant understands and agrees that any information voluntarily provided by them, including personal data, may be processed by the Organizer or third parties engaged by the Organizer to conduct the Promotion, perform all necessary related actions (including, but not limited to, informing about the results of the Promotion both in advertisements and otherwise), and for the further possible sending of information, including promotional content, regarding future events/competitions/promotions/raffles of the Organizer. By accepting these Terms, Participants thereby consent to the processing of personal data for the Organizer’s use and/or by other persons authorized by the Organizer. They also confirm their full understanding and necessary awareness of the purposes of processing the provided information, as well as the privacy policy: https://whitebit.com/privacy-policy.
At the same time, Participants of the Promotion confirm their consent to the use of their surnames and first names without any monetary compensation and agree to comply with other Rules of the Promotion. Winners confirm their consent to give promotional interviews regarding participation in the Promotion to mass media, including radio and television, and to be photographed for the creation of graphic materials without receiving any monetary compensation. All exclusive intellectual property rights to such interviews and photographs shall belong to the Organizer.
The Organizer reserves the right to make changes to the Terms and timeline of the Promotion. In the event of any changes, information will be provided on the website https://whitebit.com and on the Organizer’s social media platforms.
The Organizer does not engage in disputes that may arise between Participants of the Promotion regarding the Prize. In case of situations allowing ambiguous interpretation of these Rules and/or issues not regulated by these Rules, the final decision shall be made by the Organizer of the Promotion in accordance with the requirements of applicable legislation. At the same time, the decision of the Organizer is final and not subject to appeal.
The Organizer of the Promotion is not responsible for the operation of telecommunication service providers, postal services, including email, any errors by employees of any enterprises/institutions/organizations facilitating the exchange of information between the Participants of the Promotion and the Organizer, or circumstances due to which a Participant of the Promotion did not receive the respective Prize.
In case of any discrepancies or inaccuracies related to translations into multiple languages used in the Promotion, the English translation shall be deemed valid and shall supersede all other versions.
