Terms and Conditions of the «WhiteBIT Birthday Greetings» Promo
The Organizer of the Promotion is WhiteBIT (https://whitebit.com/ua).
Promotion period: from 2 PM (UTC) on November 13, 2024, to 10 PM (UTC) on November 26, 2024.
The Territory of the Promotion: The Promotion is held in all countries except the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, American Samoa, the US Virgin Islands, Guam, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Republic of Yemen, the State of Libya, the State of Palestine, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Federal Republic of Somalia, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea Republic, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, United States of America, Syrian Arab Republic, Republic of Sudan, Republic of South Sudan, “Transnistrian Moldavian Republic”, French Republic, Federal Republic of Germany, Russian Occupied Territories in Georgia, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Turkey, Western Sahara, Ambazonia, the Republic of Kosovo, the Kingdom of Spain, Canada, the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation and the territories of Ukraine occupied by Russia.
Participants are responsible for ensuring that their participation is not prohibited or restricted by the laws or regulations of the jurisdiction of their country of residence. The Organizer reserves the right to check the eligibility of Participants to participate in the Promotion and may ask for proof of residence or location, if necessary.
The promotion is not a game of chance, a lottery, a service in the gambling business, or a contest, and these Terms do not offer a public promise of reward.
Information about the Promotion is provided based on advertising rights.
Participants of the Promotion are adult citizens of non-prohibited countries, (that is, all, except those mentioned above) or other persons who are legally present in the territory of such countries who have fulfilled the following Conditions:
- Registered on the WhiteBIT website or already are registered users of the WhiteBIT exchange and confirmed their identities (KYC);
- Subscribed to social network Instagram (@whitebit);
- Made any number of publications on Instagram with a WhiteBIT birthday greeting (text greeting, verse form, photo, video, song, dance, cake with a logo etc)** and tag WhiteBIT and Volodymyr Nosov: Instagram (@wbt.nosov);
- Filled out the Google form, providing their WhiteBIT exchange username and a link to their post.
*At the same time, the user profile must remain open during the Promotion. If it is a story, then it must be fixed in the highlights for the period of the Promotion.
**The quality of the content and its content are not determining criteria. It is forbidden to post defamatory, humiliating and offensive content during the Promotion. The only requirement for reels, posts, or stories is creativity.
The Conditions of the Promotion must be fulfilled within the Terms of its implementation.
Important! During Promotion, it is forbidden to register on the exchange several times (use several accounts). Entrants with multiple accounts will be disqualified. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, each Participant may register only once (have only one account). The use of multiple accounts (multi-accounts and/or sub-accounts) or cooperation with affiliated users and/or with users of sub-accounts belonging to the Participant and/or the Participant to manipulate the results of the Promotion is prohibited and will result in the closure of all accounts without the consent of the owner. In case of detection of the creation of multiple accounts, the Organizer reserves the right to close the second created account and any subsequent multi-accounts.
Personal data of the Promotion Participants is processed to ensure participation in the Promotion, marketing relations, advertising relations, tax relations, and relations in the field of accounting.
B2B clients, employees, representatives, or agents of the Organizer and their relatives (first and second degree of consanguinity) are not entitled to participate in the Promotion. If, at the time of awarding the Prize, it is established that the person who participated in the Promotion cannot be a Participant of the Promotion in accordance with these Rules, such a person shall not be granted the right to receive the Prize.
Participants who meet all the Terms of the Promotion and whose posts are deemed the most creative will become Winners and receive a share of the Prize Pool, which consists of 100 WBT + a secret gift from Volodymyr Nosov, with the following distribution:
- 25 Winners whose content is considered to be the most creative by Volodymyr Nosov and the WhiteBIT Team will each receive 20 WBT;
- 1 Winner whose content is considered the most creative by the Organizer will receive 500 WBT from Volodymyr Nosov.
The maximum possible total number of Promotion Winners is 26 people. One Winner may receive one Prize.
According to the results of the Promotion in the period from November 26, 2024, to November 26, 2024, inclusive, the Organizer forms a list of Participants who meet the Promotion Terms.
Winners of the Promotion to receive the Prize will be determined on December 3, 2024. The list of Winners who will receive the Prize in this article on the WhiteBIT blog (https://blog.whitebit.com/) will be published on December 3, 2024.
The Organizer shall credit the Prizes to the Main Balances of the Winners on the WhiteBIT crypto exchange within 14 calendar days following the publication of the list of Winners on the WhiteBIT blog until December 17, 2024, inclusive.
The winners of the Promotion will be informed about the calculation of the Prizes by letter to the email address specified during registration on the website https://whitebit.com/, within 5 business days after the calculation of the Prize.
The winner receives the Prize free of charge and without the possibility of exchange. Replacement of the Prize with its monetary equivalent is not envisaged. The winner of the Promotion has no right to demand any other compensation from the Organizer. The Organizer does not assume any warranty obligations regarding the Prize received within the framework of this Promotion and under the conditions defined by these Terms.
The received Prize is not subject to return.
In the event that Winners do not receive a Prize to which they are entitled or experience any other difficulties, Winners must contact online support at https://whitebit.com via email at support@whitebit.com or communicate with the Organizer’s agents in an online chat no later than December 24, 2024 inclusive. If the Winners are not contacted about the non-receipt of the Prize by the specified date, they lose the right to receive the Prize.
Winners determined by the results of the Promotion may not transfer the right to receive the Prize to third parties.
The winner of the Promotion has the right to refuse the Prize.
The Organizer does not compensate the Winner for the additional expenses related to receiving the Prize. Taxation of the income of the Winners who received the Prize is carried out in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine.
By participating in the Promotion, the Participant understands and agrees that any information voluntarily provided to them, including personal data of the Participant, may be processed by the Organizer or third parties engaged by it for the purpose of conducting the Promotion, carrying out all necessary actions related to it (in particular, but not exclusively, informing about the results of the Promotion both in advertising and in other ways), as well as further possible sending to the Participant of information, in particular, of an advertising nature, about the Organizer’s next events/competitions/promotions/raffle. By accepting the requirements of these Terms, Participants hereby consent to such processing of personal data for the purpose of use by the Organizer and/or other persons authorized by the Organizer and confirm their full understanding and necessary awareness of the purposes of processing the information provided, as well as of the privacy policy: https://whitebit.com/privacy-policy
At the same time, by participating in the Promotion, the Participants of the Promotion confirm their consent to the use of their surnames and names without any financial compensation, as well as their agreement to comply with other rules of the Promotion. The winners confirm their consent to give promotional interviews about participation in the Promotion in mass media, in particular, on radio and television, as well as to be photographed for the production of graphic materials without paying them any monetary compensation. All exclusive intellectual property rights to such interviews and photographs shall belong to the Promoter.
The organizer reserves the right to make changes to the terms and conditions of the Promotion. In case of any changes, information about this will be provided on the website https://whitebit.com and on the Organizer’s social networks.
The Organizer does not enter into disputes that may arise between the Participants of the Promotion regarding the Prize. In the event of situations that allow an ambiguous interpretation of these Rules and/or issues not regulated by these Rules, the final decision is made by the Promotion Organizer in accordance with the requirements of the current legislation of Ukraine. At the same time, the decision of the Promotion Organizer is final and cannot be appealed.
The Organizer of the Promotion is not responsible for the work of the services of telecommunications companies, postal communication, in particular e-mail, for any errors of the employees of any enterprises/institutions/organizations that ensure the exchange of information between the Participants of the Promotion and the Organizer, or for the circumstances as a result of which postal items did not arrive, arrived late, were lost or damaged; or as a result of which the Promotion Participant did not receive the corresponding Prize.
