Terms and Conditions of Participation in the Promotion “Trading Competition with MUSIC and GALA”

The organizer of the Promotion is WhiteBIT.

Promotion period: from 12 PM (UTC) on July 31, 2024, to 12 PM (UTC) on August 14, 2024.

The territory of the Promotion: The promotion is held in all countries except for the Islamic Emirates of Afghanistan, American Samoa, the US Virgin Islands, Guam, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Republic of Yemen, the State of Libya, the State of Palestine, the Freely Associated State of Puerto Rico, the Federal Republic of Somalia, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, the Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands, the United States of America, the Syrian Arab Republic, the Republic of Sudan, the Republic of South Sudan, the “Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic,” the French Republic, the Federal Republic of Germany, the temporarily occupied territories of Georgia, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Western Sahara, Ambazonia, the Republic of Kosovo, the Kingdom of Spain, Canada, the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation, and the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

Participants are responsible for ensuring that their participation is not prohibited or restricted by the laws or regulations of their jurisdiction. The Organizer reserves the right to check the eligibility of Participants to participate in the Promotion and may ask for proof of residence or location, if necessary.

The campaign is held to popularize WhiteBIT services.

The promotion is not a game of chance, a lottery, a service in the gambling business, or a contest, and these Terms do not offer a public promise of reward.

Information about the Promotion is provided based on advertising rights.

Participants of the Promotion are adult citizens of non-prohibited countries (that is, all, except those mentioned above) or other persons who are legally present in the territory of such countries who have fulfilled the following Conditions:

1. Registered for the first time on the WhiteBIT website https://whitebit.com or are already registered users of the WhiteBIT exchange and have passed the verification procedure (KYC);
2. Clicked the “Participate” button on the Promotions page;
3. Traded MUSIC/USDT and GALA/USDT pairs with a minimum trading volume of 4,000 USDT.

Attention!

The leaderboard is a ranking table of the Promotion Participants, formed according to trading volume (where the Participant with the largest trading volume takes the first place). It is updated every 30 minutes. The final data on the volume of trades will be collected at 12 PM (UTC) on 08/14/2024.

The trading volume of the Promotion Participants will be counted only for the trading pairs MUSIC/USDT and GALA/USDT.

The trading volume is calculated as the total amount of all buy and sell orders executed by the Participant in specified trading pairs during the Promotion Period.

The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify the Participant if he:

• Use wash trading (execute their own orders);
• Use accounts with a 0% trading fee (except for special trading fee discounts provided to holders of WhiteBIT Coin);
• Use API bots;
• Use a corporate account (for example, those created for exchange services);
• Use multi-accounts (only one account per Participant is allowed);
• Take part in any illegal activity, including those covered by WhiteBIT’s User Agreement, AML/CFT Policy, and Privacy Policy.

The Conditions of the Promotion must be met within the designated time frame of its duration.

IMPORTANT! While participating in the Promotion, it is forbidden to register on the exchange several times (use several accounts). Participants with multiple accounts will be disqualified. It is forbidden to participate in the Promotion simultaneously from whitebit.com and the local website of WhiteBIT exchange (whitebit-tr.com). Such Participants will be disqualified.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, each Participant may register only once (have only one account). The use of multiple accounts (multi-accounts and/or Sub-Accounts) or cooperation with affiliated users and/or users of Sub-Accounts belonging to the Participant for manipulating orders is prohibited and will result in the closure of all accounts without the owner’s consent. In the case of detecting the creation of several accounts, the Organizer reserves the right to close the second created account and any subsequent multi-accounts.

The Conditions of the Promotion must be met within the specified timeframe.

Any personal data of the Promotion Participants is processed to ensure participation in the Promotion, marketing, advertising, tax, and accounting relations.

Participants who are employees, representatives, or agents of the Organizer or their relatives (up to the second degree of kinship) are ineligible to participate in the Promotion. If, when awarding the Prize, it is determined that Participants do not meet the eligibility criteria outlined in these Terms, they will not be entitled to receive the Prize.

The first 20 Participants of the Promotion in the Leaderboard who fulfill the Promotion Terms and achieve the highest trading volume (minimum 5,000 USDT equivalent) during the Promotion Period have the opportunity to become Winners and win one of the Grand Prize Pool Prizes, which is 66,000 MUSIC, which will be distributed as follows:

1 place in the Leaderboard — 14 200 MUSIC;

2 place in the Leaderboard — 9000 MUSIC;

3 place in the Leaderboard — 6500 MUSIC;

4–9 places in the Leaderboard — 2750 MUSIC each;

10 –20 places in the Leaderboard — 1800 MUSIC each;

Participants of the Promotion who fulfill the Promotion Terms and achieve a minimum trading volume equivalent to 4,000 USDT have the opportunity to become Winners and win a part of the Additional Prize Pool, which is 29,000 MUSIC, namely 1,450 MUSIC each.

The maximum number of Winners who can win a Prize from the Main Prize Pool is 20, and the maximum number of Winners who can win a Prize from the Additional Prize Pool is 20.

One Winner may receive only one Prize from the Main or Additional Prize pool.

Based on the results of the Promotion, the Organizer will automatically form a list of Promotion Participants who have fulfilled the Promotion Terms at 12 PM(UTC) 14.08.2024, in accordance with the volume of bidding of the Promotion Participants at the time of its completion, which will be available in the Leaderboard.

The Winners of the Promotion will be determined on August 22, 2024. The winners who will receive the Prize from the Main Prize Pool will be the 20 Participants who fulfilled all the Terms of the Promotion and had the largest trading volume, but not less than 5,000 USDT in pairs MUSIC/USDT and GALA/USDT at the time of the end of the Promotion, according to the rating formed in Leaderboard.

The determination of the Winners who will receive the Prize from the Additional Prize Pool will take place on 22.08.2024 using the random.org service, automatically among all Participants of the Promotion with a trading volume of at least 4,000 USDT who have fulfilled its Terms, except for those Participants who became Winners and will receive Prize from the Main Prize Pool. Winners who will receive a Prize from the Additional Prize Pool are determined by rating (place in the list on the https://www.random.org/ service).

The list of winners will be published in this article on August 22, 2024. A video with a screen recording of the process of determining the Winners who will receive Prizes from the Additional Prize Pool will be published on the WhiteBIT YouTube channel.

The Organizer shall credit the Prizes to the Main balances of the Winners on the WhiteBIT exchange within 7 working days from the next calendar day after the publication of the list of Winners.

Winners of the Promotion will be informed about receiving the Prize by letter to the e-mail address specified during registration on the website https://whitebit.com/, within 5 working days after the calculation of the Prizes.

If, after determining the Winners, it is found that a Participant has improperly fulfilled the Terms of participation in the Promotion or otherwise violated these Promotion Rules and the User Agreement, such Winner loses the right to receive the Prize and the status of the Winner. In this case, the right to receive the Prize and the status of the Winner will be transferred as follows:

• For the Main Prize Pool: The prize will go to the next Participant on the Leaderboard with the largest trading volume for the MUSIC/USDT and GALA/USDT pairs. For example, if the Participant who placed third is disqualified, their prize will be transferred to the Participant who placed fourth.
• For the Additional Prize Pool: The prize will be transferred to another Participant selected using the random.org service.

The winner receives the Prize for free. Replacement of the Prize with its monetary equivalent is not envisaged. The winner of the Promotion has no right to demand any other compensation from the Organizer.

In case of not receiving the Prize, if the Winner was entitled to it, or in case of any other difficulties, the Winner should contact the online support at https://whitebit.com, at the email address support@whitebit.com. The winner must do this no later than 09.09.2024 inclusive. In the event that the Winner does not apply within the specified period, in particular regarding issues of non-receipt of the Prize, the Winner loses the right to receive it.

The received Prize cannot be exchanged or returned.

Winners determined by the results of the Promotion may not transfer the right to receive the Prize to third parties.

The winner of the Promotion has the right to refuse the Prize.

The Organizer bears no warranty obligations regarding the Prize received within the scope of this Promotion and under the conditions specified in these Rules.

The Organizer does not compensate the additional expenses of the Winner related to receiving the Prize. Taxation of the income of the Winners who received the Prize is carried out in accordance with the current legislation of the Participating countries.

By participating in the Promotion, the Participant understands and agrees that any information voluntarily provided, including personal data, may be processed by the Organizer or third parties engaged by the Organizer for the purpose of conducting the Promotion and carrying out all necessary related actions. This includes, but is not limited to, informing Participants about the results of the Promotion through advertising and other means, as well as the possible subsequent sending of information to Participants about the Organizer’s future events, competitions, promotions, or draws. By accepting the requirements of these Terms and Conditions, Participants consent to such processing of personal data by the Organizer and/or other authorized persons. Participants also confirm their understanding and awareness of the purposes of processing the provided information, as well as the privacy policy: https://whitebit.com/privacy-policy.

Additionally, by participating in the Promotion, Participants consent to the use of their surnames and names without any financial compensation and agree to comply with the other Rules of the Promotion. Winners confirm their consent to give promotional interviews about their participation in the Promotion to mass media, including radio and television, and to be photographed for the production of graphic materials without receiving any monetary compensation. All exclusive intellectual property rights to such interviews and photos shall belong to the Organizer.

The Organizer reserves the right to make changes to the terms and conditions of the Promotion. Any updates will be provided on the website https://whitebit.com and on the Organizer’s social media channels.

The Organizer will not enter into disputes that may arise between Participants regarding the Prize. In situations that allow for an ambiguous interpretation of these Rules and/or issues not regulated by these Rules, the final decision will be made by the Organizer in accordance with the current legislation of the participating countries. The decision of the Organizer is final and cannot be appealed.

The Organizer is not responsible for the services of telecommunications companies, postal services, including e-mail, or for any errors made by employees of any enterprises/institutions/organizations that facilitate the exchange of information between Participants and the Organizer.

In the event of any discrepancy or inaccuracy in the translation of the multiple languages used in the Promotion, the English version shall be deemed valid and shall supersede all other versions.
