Terms and Conditions of Participation in the “Big Futures Battle” Promotion

The Organizer of the Promotion is WhiteBIT.

Promotion period: from 12 PM (UTC) on September 17, 2024, to 12 PM (UTC) on October 17, 2024.

Promotion territory: The Promotion is conducted in all countries, except for the Islamic Emirates of Afghanistan, American Samoa, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Republic of Yemen, the State of Libya, the State of Palestine, the freely associated state of Puerto Rico, the Federal Republic of Somalia, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, the United States of America, the Syrian Arab Republic, the Republic of Sudan, the Republic of South Sudan, the “Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic,” the French Republic, Austria, the United Kingdom, the Federal Republic of Germany, the temporarily occupied territories of Georgia, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Western Sahara, Ambazonia, the Republic of Kosovo, the Kingdom of Spain, Canada, the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation, and the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

Participants must ensure that their participation is not prohibited or restricted by the laws or regulations of their jurisdiction. The Organizer reserves the right to verify the eligibility of Participants in the Promotion and may request proof of residency or location if necessary.

The Promotion is held to promote WhiteBIT services.

The Promotion is not a game of chance, lottery, gambling service, or competition; these Terms do not constitute a public promise of reward.

The information about the Promotion is provided for advertising purposes.

Participants of the Promotion are adult citizens of non-prohibited countries (that is, except those specified above) or other persons who are legally present in the territory of such countries and who have fulfilled the following Conditions:

• Signed up on the WhiteBIT website for the first time or are already registered users of the WhiteBIT exchange and have completed the verification procedure (KYC);
• Clicked the “Participate” button on the Promotion page;
• Traded any futures pairs* on the WhiteBIT exchange with a minimum trading volume of 100,000 USDT during the Promotion period.

*In this tournament, all futures trading pairs available on the exchange at the start of the tournament are eligible for trading. Pairs added after the tournament begins will not be eligible for participation.

Attention! The competition leaderboard is a ranking table of Promotion Participants, formed according to the trading volume (where the Participant with the highest trading volume is in first place), and is updated every 30 minutes. Final data on trading volume will be collected at 12 PM (UTC) on October 17, 2024.

The trading volume of Promotion Participants will be counted only for all futures pairs available on WhiteBIT at the start of the Promotion.

The trading volume is calculated as the total sum of all orders executed by the Participant for buying and selling in the designated trading pairs during the Promotion period. The Organizer of the Promotion reserves the right to disqualify a Participant if they:

• Engage in wash trading (executing their own orders);
• Use accounts with a 0% trading fee (except for special trading fee discounts provided to WhiteBIT Coin (WBT) holders), participants in the VIP program, and the affiliate program;
• Use API bots;
• Use a corporate account (e.g., created for exchange services);
• Use multiple accounts (only one account per Participant is allowed);
• Engage in any other illegal activity or activity that violates the User Agreement, the AML Policy, or the WhiteBIT Privacy Policy.

IMPORTANT! It is prohibited to register multiple times (use multiple accounts) during the Promotion. Participants with multiple accounts will be disqualified. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, each Participant may register only once (have only one account). The use of multiple accounts (multi-accounts and/or sub-accounts) or collaboration with affiliated users and/or sub-account users belonging to the Participant to manipulate orders is prohibited and will result in the closure of all accounts without the owner’s consent. If the creation of multiple accounts is detected, the Organizer reserves the right to close the second account created and any subsequent multi-accounts.

The Terms of the Promotion must be fulfilled during the Promotion period.

Any personal data of the Participants of the Promotion is processed to ensure participation in the Promotion, marketing relations, advertising relations, tax relations, and accounting relations.

Employees, representatives, or agents of the Organizer and their relatives (first and second degrees of kinship) are not eligible to participate in the Promotion. If, at the time of awarding the Prize, it is determined that the person who participated in the Promotion is not eligible to be a Participant according to these Rules, that person forfeits the right to receive the Prize.

The top 10 Participants of the Promotion in the Leaderboard, who fulfill all the Terms of the Promotion and achieve the highest trading volume (minimum 100,000 USDT) during the Promotion Period, have the chance to become Winners and win one of the Prizes from the Prize pool, which totals 1,000 USDT + 1 VIP Level to the existing one for one month, distributed as follows:

• 1st place in the Leaderboard—350 USDT + 1 VIP Level;
• 2nd place in the Leaderboard—220 USDT + 1 VIP Level;
• 3rd place in the Leaderboard—110 USDT + 1 VIP Level;
• 4th place in the Leaderboard—90 USDT + 1 VIP Level;
• 5th place in the Leaderboard—70 USDT + 1 VIP Level;
• 6th place in the Leaderboard—55 USDT + 1 VIP Level;
• 7th place in the Leaderboard—40 USDT + 1 VIP Level;
• 8th place in the Leaderboard—30 USDT + 1 VIP Level;
• 9th place in the Leaderboard—25 USDT + 1 VIP Level;
• 10th place in the Leaderboard—10 USDT + 1 VIP Level.

The maximum number of Winners eligible to win a Prize is 10 people.

Each Winner can receive only one Prize.

Based on the Promotion results, the Organizer automatically generates a list of Participants who fulfilled the Promotion’s Terms at 12 PM (UTC) on 17.10.2024, according to the Participants’ trading volume at the conclusion of the Promotion, which will be available on the Leaderboard.

The determination of the Winners will take place on 24.10.2024. The Winners who will receive the Prize will be the top 10 Participants who fulfilled all the Terms of the Promotion and achieved the highest trading volume, but not less than 100,000 USDT across all futures pairs at the time the Promotion ends, according to the ranking in the Leaderboard.

The list of Winners will be published in this article on 24.10.2024.

The Organizer will credit the Prizes to the Main balances of the Winners on the WhiteBIT exchange within 7 business days from the next calendar day after the publication of the Winners list. The increase in the Winners’ VIP status level will take effect from the moment the monetary Prize is credited and will remain active for 1 month, until December 4 at the latest.

Winners of the Promotion will be informed of the Prize credit via email sent to the address provided during registration on https://whitebit.com within 5 business days after the Prizes are credited.

If, after determining the Winners, it is found that a Participant did not properly fulfill the Terms of the Promotion, or otherwise violated these Rules, or the User Agreement, that Winner forfeits the right to receive the Prize and the status of Winner. In this case, the right to the Prize and the Winner status will be transferred to the next Participant on the Leaderboard, who achieved the highest trading volume across all futures pairs. For example, if the Participant who took third place is disqualified, their reward will be passed to the Participant who held the next, fourth position in the ranking.

The Winner receives the Prize free of charge. Substitution of the Prize for its cash equivalent is not permitted. The Winner of the Promotion has no right to demand any other compensation from the Organizer.

If the Winner does not receive the Prize, despite being eligible, or if any other issues arise, the Winner must contact online support at https://whitebit.com or email support@whitebit.com. The Winner must do this no later than 11.11.2024. If the Winner does not make a claim within this period, including regarding the non-receipt of the Prize, the Winner forfeits the right to receive it.

The Prize received cannot be exchanged or returned.

Winners, as determined by the Promotion, cannot transfer their right to receive the Prize to third parties.

The Winner of the Promotion has the right to refuse the Prize.

The Organizer does not provide any warranty obligations regarding the Prize received under this Promotion and under the conditions defined in these Rules.

The Organizer does not compensate for any additional expenses incurred by the Winner in connection with receiving the Prize. Taxation of the income of Winners who received the Prize is carried out in accordance with the current legislation of the Participants’ countries.

By participating in the Promotion, the Participant understands and agrees that any voluntarily provided information, including the Participant’s personal data, may be processed by the Organizer or third parties engaged by the Organizer for the execution of the Promotion and all related necessary actions (including, but not limited to, informing about the results of the Promotion both in advertising and in other ways). This also includes the possible future sending of information, including promotional content, regarding upcoming events/competitions/promotions/draws of the Organizer. By accepting the requirements of these Terms, Participants thereby consent to the processing of their personal data for use by the Organizer and/or other authorized persons by the Organizer and confirm their full understanding and necessary awareness regarding the purposes of processing the provided information, as well as the privacy policy: https://whitebit.com/privacy-policy.

At the same time, Participants in the Promotion, by their participation, confirm their consent to the use of their surnames and names without any material compensation, as well as their agreement to comply with other Rules of the Promotion. Winners confirm their consent to give promotional interviews regarding their participation in the Promotion to the media, including on radio and television, and to be photographed for the production of graphic materials without any financial compensation. All exclusive property rights to such interviews and photographs will belong to the Organizer.

The Organizer reserves the right to make changes to the conditions and terms of the Promotion. In the event of any changes, information will be provided on the website https://whitebit.com and through the Organizer’s social media channels.

The Organizer will not engage in disputes that may arise between Participants regarding the Prize. In the event of situations allowing for ambiguous interpretations of these Rules and/or issues not regulated by these Rules, the final decision will be made by the Organizer of the Promotion in accordance with the applicable laws of the Participants’ countries. At the same time, the decision of the Organizer of the Promotion is final and not subject to appeal.

The Organizer of the Promotion is not responsible for the work of telecommunication service providers, postal services, including email, or for any errors made by employees of any enterprises/institutions/organizations that facilitate the exchange of information between Participants and the Organizer.

In the event of any discrepancies or inaccuracies related to the translation into multiple languages used in the Promotion, the English translation is considered valid and supersedes all other versions.
