Terms and Conditions of Participation in the «Discord Quest!» Promotion

The Organizer of the Promotion is WhiteBIT, a company duly incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Lithuania with the registration number LT-03224. The registered office address of the company is located at J. Basanaviiaus g. 26, Vilnius, Republic of Lithuania.

The Promotion period will commence on the 1st of November, 2023, at 13:00 (UTC). The Promotion is open-ended.

The Promotion is open to Participants from all countries worldwide, except for the citizens of the following jurisdictions: Afghanistan, American Samoa, U.S. Virgin Islands, Territory of Guam, Iran, Yemen, Libya, State of Palestine, Puerto Rico, Somalia, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, The Northern Mariana Islands, USA, Canada, Syria, Russian Federation, Republic of Belarus, Republic of Sudan, Transnistria, temporarily occupied territories of Georgia, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Western Sahara, Federal Republic of Ambazonia, Kosovo, South Sudan, and temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

It is the responsibility of Participants to ensure that their participation is not prohibited or restricted by the laws or regulations of their jurisdiction. The Organizer reserves the right to verify the eligibility of Participants and may request proof of residency or location if necessary.

The Promotion is organized with the primary objective of promoting the WhiteBIT brand.

The Promotion is not considered a game of chance, lottery, gambling service, or contest. These Terms and Conditions do not represent a public commitment to reward participants.

Information about the Promotion is communicated in accordance with the Organizer’s advertising rights.

Participants of the Promotion are adult citizens (persons over the age of 18 years) of non-prohibited countries who have met the following conditions:

1. Registered on the WhiteBIT website https://whitebit.com and passed the identity verification (KYC).
2. Joined one of the two WhiteBIT Discord servers — Ukrainian or English.
3. Fulfilled the conditions for achieving different ranks.*

The development of the Participant’s profile takes place through active communication and assistance to users of the WhiteBIT Discord community.

For each minute of chatting on the WhiteBIT Discord server, the Participant has a chance to randomly receive between 15 and 25 XP.

All XP points, virtual coins, and levels obtained before the start of the event are reset for the Participant. The exception is XP points and virtual coins, issued as rewards for participation in activities. The Organizer recredits them after the start of the Promotion.

Achieving each subsequent rank is not obligatory if the Participant lacks the necessary skills or does not wish to obtain all ranks.

Ranks provide the participant with both a visual distinction in the community and additional advantages that can be used beneficially.

A Participant has the right to actively participate in the event only on one of the mentioned servers. In case of achieving a high level on both servers, the Participant must decide on which server they wish to continue participation in the event.

Prizes within the event can be received by the Participant only on one of the servers.

The development of the Participant’s profile and content publication is allowed on both servers, but the receipt of Prizes is possible only on one of them.

*The requirements for achieving certain ranks by Participants of the Promotion are defined as follows:

1. The rank “Decentralized Elf” is given to the Participant who:

1.1. Has reached level 15.

2. The rank “Ethereum Raccoon” is given to the Participant who:

2.1. Has reached level 25;

2.2. Created emojis/stickers for the WhiteBIT Discord server and sent them in a private message to the WhiteBIT#8126 profile, with at least 4 of them being posted on the server, or published 1 article or 1 review in the appropriate channel;

2.3. Purchased any 3 items from the Organizer’s bot using the /buy command.

3. The rank “Decent Satoshi” is given to the Participant who:

3.1. Has reached level 50;

3.2. Published 2 articles in the user content channel or published 2 reviews or movie reviews in the appropriate channel;

3.3. Purchased any 6 items from the Organizer’s bot using the /buy command.

4. The rank “Diamond Mole” is given to the Participant who:

4.1. Has reached level 75;

4.2. Published 4 articles in the user content channel or published 4 reviews or movie reviews in the appropriate channel;

4.3. Purchased any 9 items from the Organizer’s bot using the /buy command.

5. The rank “Blockchain Madman” is given to the Participant who:

5.1. Has reached level 100;

5.2. Published 7 articles in the user content channel or published 7 reviews or movie reviews in the appropriate channel;

5.3. Has the roles “Proactivist” and “Cryptowriter”;

5.4. Purchased any 12 items from the Organizer’s bot using the /buy command.

The role of “Proactivist” within the Promotion is given to the Participant who actively and effectively cooperates with the community and the administration of the WhiteBIT Discord server.

Specific criteria for obtaining the role of “Proactivist” include, but are not limited to the following:

• Actively helping other users of the WhiteBIT Discord server in explaining and resolving various issues;
• Active cooperation with the administration of the WhiteBIT Discord server, as well as the search and implementation of new stickers to diversify communication within the Promotion.

The purchase of items from the bot within the Promotion is carried out using virtual coins, which are the internal currency on the WhiteBIT Discord server. The /buy command is used to execute purchase operations.

The list of items and their cost determination is done using the /shop command.

Earning virtual coins is possible thanks to the Participant’s participation in activities held on the WhiteBIT Discord server, or by executing commands proposed for game participation or performing certain actions. Some items available in the store may be awarded as a reward for participating in relevant activities. Certain items may have a unique nature.

The list of commands that allow earning virtual coins (commands can be used no more than once a day) includes:

/daily — receiving a random amount of coins.

/dice — a game where you need to guess the number and roll the dice.

/guess — a game where you need to guess the number.

/rps — rock, paper, scissors game.

/work — the opportunity to receive coins for a specific work.

The Organizer has also implemented a penalty system, which can be supplemented or updated according to the Organizer’s needs and conditions. The penalty system is set as follows:

• Warning (Warn) — reduction of experience points (XP) by 100 points and reduction of the number of coins by 150.
• Temporary restriction of rights (mute/read-only) — reduction of experience points (XP) by 150 points and reduction of the number of coins by 300.
• Temporary removal from participation (Temporary ban) — reduction of experience points (XP) by 300 points and reduction of the number of coins by 450.

Personal data of Participants in the Promotion will be processed to ensure their participation in the Promotion, establish marketing relations, advertising relations, tax relations, and accounting relations.

Participants who are employees, representatives, or agents of the Organizer, or their relatives (up to the second degree of kinship), are ineligible to participate in the Promotion. If, at the time of awarding the Prize, it is determined that Participants do not meet the eligibility criteria set forth in these Terms, they will not be entitled to receive the Prize.

Participants in the Promotion have the opportunity to win one of the Prize Fund Prizes:

• Upon reaching the 1st rank, the user will be assigned the role of “Decentralized Elf”.
• Upon reaching the 2nd rank, the user will be assigned the role of “Ethereum Raccoon”.
• Upon reaching the 3rd rank, the user will be assigned the role of “Decent Satoshi”, a possibility to customize the referral link, and a Discord Nitro Basic subscription for one month.
• Upon reaching the 4th rank, the user will be assigned the role of “Diamond Mole”, a possibility to customize the referral link, a Discord Nitro Basic subscription for one month, and one unit of merchandise (t-shirt, tote bag, water bottle) of their choice from those proposed upon the fact of acquiring the rank.
• Upon reaching the 5th rank, the user will be assigned the role of “Blockchain Madman”, a Discord Nitro Full subscription for one month, a special merch box (t-shirt, tote bag, pin, notebook, pen, mug, water bottle), and a possibility to customize the referral link.

The Contest allows for an unlimited number of Winner(s).

The Organizer determines the Winners according to the following procedure::

1. The Participant who believes they have met all the criteria for achieving the corresponding rank should contact the Organizer via a private message to the WhiteBIT#8126 account on Discord.
2. In their message, the Participant should indicate the rank they are claiming.
3. The Participant should also provide relevant evidence of meeting the criteria for this rank. Evidence can include screenshots, hyperlinks, or other relevant materials (for security reasons, download files will not be considered as evidence).
4. Upon receiving the message, the Organizer reviews and evaluates the provided evidence.
5. The Participant whose evidence the Organizer deems sufficient and reliable for meeting the criteria is declared the Winner. The determination of the sufficiency and reliability of evidence remains at the sole discretion of the Organizer.
6. According to the established procedure, the Winner receives the corresponding rank.

If it proves to be impracticable to contact the Winners or if the Winners fail to comply with these Terms, such Winners shall forfeit their entitlement to the Winner status, and such entitlement shall be transferred to the next Winner on the list.

The Winner receives the Prize free of charge. The Prize is non-refundable, non-replaceable, and the Promotion Winner is not entitled to demand any additional compensation from the Organizer. The Organizer assumes no warranty obligations for the Prize received within the ambit of this Promotion and under the conditions specified in these Terms and Conditions.

The Organizer will contact the Winners via private messages in Discord and will ask the Winners for details to send the Prize: the shipping address for the Prize and clothing size.

The Organizer sends Prizes in the form of merchandise within 14 working days following the day of determining the Winner.

The Organizer allocates Prizes in the form of Discord Nitro Basic and Discord Nitro Full subscriptions to the user’s Discord profile in the form of a gift within 14 working days following the day of determining the Winner.

The Organizer assigns Prizes in the form of all relevant roles to the user’s Discord profile in the form of a gift within 7 working days following the day of determining the Winner.

In the event that the Winners do not receive the Prize, assuming they were eligible for it, or encounter any other difficulties, it is required for the Winners to contact the online support at https://whitebit.com, email support@whitebit.com, or engage with Organizer’s agents in live chat by no later than 21 calendar days from the moment of determining the Winner for Prizes in the form of merchandise and Discord Nitro Basic and Discord Nitro Full subscriptions, and no later than 14 calendar days from the moment of determining the Winner for Prizes in the form of all relevant roles, inclusively. If the Winners fail to make contact regarding the issue of non-receipt of the Prize by the specified date, they will forfeit their right to receive the Prize.

Winners determined by the results of the Promotion are not permitted to transfer the rights to receive the Prize to any third parties.

The Winner of the Promotion has the right to refuse the Prize.

The Organizer does not provide compensation for any additional expenses arising from the Winner’s receipt of the Prize. The taxation of the Prize income received by the Winners shall be carried out in accordance with the prevailing legislation.

By participating in the Promotion, the Participant acknowledges and agrees that any voluntarily provided information, including personal data, may be processed by the Organizer or third parties engaged by the Organizer to conduct the Promotion and perform all necessary related activities. This includes, but is not limited to, informing Participants about the results of the Promotion through advertising or other means. Participants may also receive further information, particularly of an advertising nature, about subsequent events, competitions, promotions, or raffles organized by the Organizer. By accepting these Terms and Conditions, Participants explicitly consent to the processing of their personal data by the Organizer and/or other authorized entities. Participants confirm their full understanding and necessary awareness of the purposes for processing the provided information, as well as the privacy policy, accessible at https://whitebit.com/ru/privacy-policy.

By participating in the Promotion, Participants confirm their consent to the use of their surnames and first names without any financial compensation. Participants also agree to comply with all other Terms of the Promotion. Winners additionally confirm their agreement to participate in advertising interviews regarding their participation in the Promotion, including media platforms such as radio and television, and to be photographed for the creation of graphic materials, without receiving any monetary compensation. All exclusive intellectual property rights to such interviews and photographs will be owned by the Organizer.

The Organizer reserves the right to amend or modify the Terms and Conditions of the Promotion. In the event of any such changes, information regarding the modifications will be provided on the WhiteBIT website and the Organizer’s official social media platforms.

The Organizer does not involve itself in the resolution of disputes that may arise between Participants of the Prize Promotion. In situations where there are ambiguities in the interpretation of these Terms and/or matters that are not specifically addressed by these Terms, the Organizer of the Promotion will make the final decision in accordance with the applicable legal requirements. It is essential to recognize that the Organizer’s decision is considered final and is not subject to appeal.

In the event of any discrepancies or inaccuracies arising from translation across multiple languages utilized in the Promotion, the English rendition shall be deemed authoritative and shall supersede all other versions.
