Transition Process: Step-by-Step Instructions and Additional Info
Content
We are excited to announce a significant milestone for WhiteBIT Card users—the transition of services from https://www.whitebit.com to https://www.whitebit.ge. This change underscores our commitment to enhancing your user experience and paving the way for future improvements.
To continue using your WhiteBIT Card seamlessly, all card owners must transfer their card data to the new domain till July 1, 2024. This article provides detailed information about why this transition is necessary and outlines the steps for a successful data transfer.
Why Is Transition Necessary?
The transition of WhiteBIT Cards from whitebit.com to whitebit.ge is an important step to ensure uninterrupted access to the service. All your data on whitebit.com will remain untouched, and the transition process is needed solely to update your WhiteBIT Card.
Step-By-Step Transition Instructions
Starting the Transition Process
- Click on the “Start now” button to go to the password recovery page and use your email linked to your global account on the whitebit.com domain to receive a password for your account on whitebit.ge;
- Agree to the Transition terms and confirm the process with a 2FA code;
- Enter your WhiteBIT account email in the appropriate field to receive a new password for logging in to whitebit.ge.
KYC Verification
To pass KYC verification on whitebit.ge, you need to have a verified account on PayUnicard. Click on “Verification” in your whitebit.ge account and choose between two options: either log in to your PayUnicard account and share your KYC status, or create a new PayUnicard account and pass KYC. Once your whitebit.ge account is verified, your WB Card will be transferred there automatically.
Transferring Funds
Please note that the funds transfer is not mandatory and only concerns the assets that you want to transfer to your WhiteBIT Card.
- Create a WhiteBIT Code to transfer your assets. Pay attention to available assets: BTC, ETH, USDT, XLM, XRP, DOGE, BCH, LTC, LINK, USDC, MATIC, TRX, ADA or WBT. Activate the WhiteBIT Code on whitebit.ge.
- To transfer funds to your WhiteBIT Card, convert the funds to WBGEL.
- There is no automatic transfer of funds from whitebit.com to whitebit.ge. To transfer funds yourself, use WhiteBIT Codes.
We’d like to remind you that you need to keep 10 WBT in Holding to use a WhiteBIT Card. However, in the case of transition, you don’t need to transfer WBT from whitebit.com to whitebit.ge account.
Important notes
- If you create a new account outside the transition process, the card transfer will not take place. To retain all data related to your current WhiteBIT Card, you must follow the transition process as described above;
- All data related to WhiteBIT Cards will be deleted from your whitebit.com account.
- By initiating the transition process, the user agrees and consents to become a user/customer of WhiteBIT Georgia, a legal entity incorporated under the laws of Georgia, with a taxpayer ID: 405520217
