Terms and Conditions of Participation in the «WBT Birthday Battle» Promotion

The organizer of the Promotion is WhiteBIT (https://whitebit.com/).

Promotion period: The Promotion starts at 12 PM (UTC) on August 14, 2024, and finishes at 12 PM (UTC) on September 11, 2024.

The territory of the Promotion: The promotion is held in all countries except for the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, American Samoa, the United States Virgin Islands, Guam, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Republic of Yemen, the State of Libya, the State of Palestine, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Federal Republic of Somalia, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, the United States of America, the Syrian Arab Republic, the Republic of the Sudan, the Republic of South Sudan, the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, the French Republic, the Federal Republic of Germany, the temporarily occupied territories of Georgia, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Western Sahara, Ambazonia, the Republic of Kosovo, the Kingdom of Spain, Canada, the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation, and the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

Participants are responsible for ensuring that their participation is not prohibited or restricted by the laws or regulations of their jurisdiction. The Organizer reserves the right to verify the eligibility of Participants to participate in the Promotion and may request proof of residence or location if necessary.

The campaign is held to popularize WhiteBIT services.

The promotion is not a game of chance, a lottery, a service in the gambling business, or a contest, and these Terms do not offer a public promise of reward.

Information about the Promotion is provided based on advertising rights.

Participants of the Promotion are adult citizens of non-prohibited countries (that is, all, except those mentioned above) or other persons who are legally present in the territory of such countries who have fulfilled the following Conditions:

1. Registered for the first time on the WhiteBIT website https://whitebit.com or are already registered users of the WhiteBIT exchange and have passed the verification procedure (KYC);
2. Clicked the “Participate” button on the Promotion page;
3. Traded pairs with USDT on the spot and margin market of the WhiteBIT exchange and achieved at least 10,000 USDT (equivalent) in total trading volume during the Promotion period.

Please note

As part of this tournament, participants may trade all pairs with USDT for spot and margin trading (only in regions where margin trading is permitted on the exchange) available at the commencement of the Trading competition except pairs with national currencies and stablecoin pairs (for example, USDC/USDT). Pairs added subsequent to the initiation of the tournament will not be eligible for participation in the competition.

The leaderboard is a ranking table of the Promotion Participants, arranged according to trading volume (the Participant with the largest trading volume takes first place). It is updated every 30 minutes. Final trading volume data will be collected at 12 PM (UTC) on September 11.

The trading volume of the Promotion Participants will be counted only for trading pairs available for spot and margin trading.

The trading volume is calculated as the total amount of all buy and sell orders executed by the Participant in specified trading pairs during the Promotion Period.

The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify the Participant if he:

• Uses wash trading (executes own orders);
• Uses 0% trading fee accounts (except for special trading fee discounts provided to WhiteBIT Coin (WBT) holders);
• Uses API bots;
• Uses a corporate account (for example, created for exchange services);
• Uses multiple accounts (only one account per Member is allowed);
• Conducts any other illegal activity that is contrary to the User Agreement, AML Policy, WhiteBIT Privacy Policy.

IMPORTANT! While participating in the Promotion, it is forbidden to register on the exchange several times (use several accounts). Participants with multiple accounts will be disqualified. It is forbidden to participate in the Promotion simultaneously from whitebit.com and the local website of WhiteBIT exchange (whitebit-tr.com). Such Participants will be disqualified.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, each Participant may register only once (have only one account). The use of multiple accounts (multi-accounts and/or Sub-Accounts) or cooperation with affiliated users and/or users of Sub-Accounts belonging to the Participant for manipulating orders is prohibited and will result in the closure of all accounts without the owner’s consent. In the case of detecting the creation of several accounts, the Organizer reserves the right to close the second created account and any subsequent multi-accounts.

The Conditions of the Promotion must be met within the specified timeframe.

Any personal data of the Promotion Participants is processed to ensure participation in the Promotion, marketing, advertising, tax, and accounting relations.

Participants who are employees, representatives, or agents of the Organizer or their relatives (up to the second degree of kinship) are ineligible to participate in the Promotion. If, when awarding the Prize, it is determined that Participants do not meet the eligibility criteria outlined in these Terms, they will not be entitled to receive the Prize.

The first 20 Participants of the Promotion in the Leaderboard who fulfill the Promotion Terms and achieve the highest trading volume (minimum 10,000 USDT in equivalent) during the Promotion Period have the opportunity to become Winners and win one of the Prizes of the Prize Pool, which is 500 WBT, which will be distributed as follows way:

1st place in the Leaderboard — 100 WBT;

2nd place in the Leaderboard — 75 WBT;

3rd place in the Leaderboard — 50 WBT;

4th place in the Leaderboard — 35 WBT;

5th place in the Leaderboard — 30 WBT;

6th place in the Leaderboard — 28 WBT;

7th place in the Leaderboard — 26 WBT;

8th place in the Leaderboard — 24 WBT;

9th place in the Leaderboard — 22 WBT;

10th place in the Leaderboard — 20 WBT;

11th place in the Leaderboard — 18 WBT;

12th place in the Leaderboard — 15 WBT;

13th place in the Leaderboard — 13 WBT;

14th place in the Leaderboard — 12 WBT;

15th place in the Leaderboard — 11 WBT;

16th place in the Leaderboard — 10 WBT;

17th place in the Leaderboard — 5 WBT;

18th place in the Leaderboard — 3 WBT;

19th place in the Leaderboard — 2 WBT;

20th place in the Leaderboard — 1 WBT.

The maximum possible number of Winners who can win a Prize from the Main Prize fund is 20 people.

One Winner can receive only one Prize from the Prize pool.

Based on the Promotion’s results, the Organizer will automatically form a list of Promotion Participants who have fulfilled the Promotion Terms at 12 PM (UTC) on September 11, 2024, according to the volume of the Promotion Participants’ trades at the time of its completion. This list will be available in the Leaderboard.

The list of Winners will be published in this article on September 17, 2024.

The Organizer shall credit the Prizes to the main balances of the Winners on the WhiteBIT exchange within 5 working days from the next calendar day after the publication of the list of Winners.

Winners of the Promotion will be informed about receiving the Prize by letter to the e-mail address specified during registration on the website https://whitebit.com/, within 5 working days after the calculation of the Prizes.

If, upon determining the Winners, it is discovered that a Participant has not adhered to the Terms of Participation in the Promotion or has otherwise violated these Promotion Rules or the User Agreement, such Winner shall forfeit their right to receive the Prize and their status as a Winner. In such an event, the right to receive the Prize and the status of Winner will be conferred upon the next Participant in the Tournament Table who has achieved the highest trading volume in spot or margin trading. For instance, if a Participant in third place is disqualified, their Prize will be awarded to the Participant in the fourth position in the ranking.

The winner shall receive the Prize at no cost. The winner of the Promotion waives any right to claim additional compensation from the Organizer.

In case of non-receipt of the Prize, if the Winner was entitled to it, or in case of any other difficulties, the Winner should contact the online support at the website https://whitebit.com, at the email address support@whitebit.com. The winner must do this no later than October 1, 2024 inclusive. In the event that the Winner does not apply within the specified period, in particular, regarding issues of non-receipt of the Prize, the Winner loses the right to receive it.

The received Prize cannot be exchanged or returned.

Winners determined by the results of the Promotion may not transfer the right to receive the Prize to third parties.

The winner of the Promotion has the right to refuse the Prize.

The Organizer bears no warranty obligations regarding the Prize received within the scope of this Promotion and under the conditions specified in these Rules.

The Organizer does not compensate the additional expenses of the Winner related to receiving the Prize. Taxation of the income of the Winners who received the Prize is carried out in accordance with the current legislation of the Participating countries.

By participating in the Promotion, the Participant understands and agrees that any information voluntarily provided, including personal data, may be processed by the Organizer or third parties engaged by the Organizer for the purpose of conducting the Promotion and carrying out all necessary related actions. This includes, but is not limited to, informing Participants about the results of the Promotion through advertising and other means, as well as the possible subsequent sending of information to Participants about the Organizer’s future events, competitions, promotions, or draws. By accepting the requirements of these Terms and Conditions, Participants consent to such processing of personal data by the Organizer and/or other authorized persons. Participants also confirm their understanding and awareness of the purposes of processing the provided information, as well as the privacy policy: https://whitebit.com/privacy-policy.

Additionally, by participating in the Promotion, Participants consent to the use of their surnames and names without any financial compensation and agree to comply with the other Rules of the Promotion. Winners confirm their consent to give promotional interviews about their participation in the Promotion to mass media, including radio and television, and to be photographed for the production of graphic materials without receiving any monetary compensation. All exclusive intellectual property rights to such interviews and photos shall belong to the Organizer.

The Organizer reserves the right to make changes to the terms and conditions of the Promotion. Any updates will be provided on the website https://whitebit.com and on the Organizer’s social media channels.

The Organizer will not enter into disputes that may arise between Participants regarding the Prize. In situations that allow for an ambiguous interpretation of these Rules and/or issues not regulated by these Rules, the final decision will be made by the Organizer in accordance with the current legislation of the participating countries. The decision of the Organizer is final and cannot be appealed.

The Organizer is not responsible for the services of telecommunications companies, postal services, including e-mail, or for any errors made by employees of any enterprises/institutions/organizations that facilitate the exchange of information between Participants and the Organizer.

In the event of any discrepancy or inaccuracy in the translation of the multiple languages used in the Promotion, the English version shall be deemed valid and shall supersede all other versions.
