What Is Young Platform? A European Crypto Ecosystem for Everyday Users

Young Platform is an Italian crypto ecosystem that combines digital-asset trading, education, portfolio tools, loyalty features, and payment services. Instead of offering only an exchange interface, it gives users access to several connected products through one ecosystem.
Young Platform offers several connected products within its ecosystem, supporting its mission to make crypto accessible and easy to use:
- Young Platform for simple crypto purchases and sales;
- Young Platform Pro for advanced trading tools;
- Young Platform Academy and Step for crypto education;
- wallets, recurring purchases, payment services, and YNG-based loyalty features for managing crypto and euros.
Young Platform’s Mission: Making Crypto Accessible and Regulated
Young Platform aims to make crypto-assets easier to understand and use, especially for first-time market entrants. Its standard platform focuses on a simple, intuitive experience, while educational content helps users build their knowledge before exploring more advanced products.
At the same time, the company operates within the European regulatory framework. On 30 June 2026, Young Platform S.p.A. received authorization from Consob and the Bank of Italy to operate as a Crypto-Asset Service Provider under the EU Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation, or MiCAR. Its CASP-compliant operating model became effective on 1 July 2026.
Trading Infrastructure and the Young Platform Pro Experience
Young Platform provides two main trading experiences.
The standard exchange is designed for straightforward crypto purchases, sales, and portfolio management. Young Platform Pro is aimed at more experienced users and provides charting tools, market data, conditional orders, and a professional trading interface.
Under its MiCAR operating model, the retail Young Platform service performs bilateral crypto-asset exchange, with Young Platform acting as the user’s direct counterparty. Young Platform Pro executes orders on behalf of clients by routing them to external execution venues according to its execution policy.
Young Platform also publishes a record of orders executed through its bilateral exchange service during the previous 24 hours, supporting the transparency requirements established under Article 77(4) of MiCAR.
Security, Compliance, and User Protection in the European Market
Young Platform combines account-security measures, identity verification, transaction monitoring, and regulatory procedures. It also works with specialized technology and compliance providers to support custody, blockchain intelligence, and user verification.
Its CASP authorization covers eight crypto-asset services regulated by MiCAR, including custody, crypto-to-fiat and crypto-to-crypto exchange, order execution, placement, transfers, advice, and portfolio management. It does not cover operating a regulated trading platform or receiving and transmitting third-party orders.
The authorization also enables cross-border operations in the European Union through the European passporting regime, subject to the relevant notification procedures.
Regulation does not remove market risk. Crypto-assets remain volatile and may result in substantial or total loss. They are not protected by the deposit-guarantee or traditional investor-compensation schemes that apply to certain conventional financial products.
Learn-to-Earn and Financial Education Through the Young Academy
Education is a central part of the Young Platform ecosystem.
Young Platform Academy provides free guides on blockchain, cryptocurrencies, economics, technology, and trading. Its content is organized by topic and level, helping beginners gradually explore more complex concepts.
Young Platform Step turns learning into a more interactive experience. Users can read educational content, complete quizzes and challenges, participate in activities, and receive rewards for eligible achievements. YNG earned through Step can be transferred to Young Platform and used within the wider ecosystem.
These products connect education with practical tools, although completing educational activities does not guarantee financial results or eliminate the risks of trading crypto-assets.
Smart Investing Features: Recurring Purchases, Wallets, and Portfolio Tools
Young Platform provides tools for users who want to manage their portfolios without focusing only on active trading.
Recurring Purchases allow users to schedule crypto purchases at selected intervals. Moneyboxes can be used to accumulate one or several supported crypto-assets, while portfolio analytics help users monitor values and performance.
These features may help users follow a more structured approach, but automated or recurring purchases do not guarantee returns. Market conditions, volatility, liquidity, and execution prices can still affect the result of every transaction.
The YNG Token and Loyalty Ecosystem
YNG is the utility token at the center of Young Platform’s loyalty ecosystem. It is an ERC-20 token issued on Ethereum and is classified as a utility crypto-asset under MiCAR, rather than an asset-referenced or e-money token.
Users can lock YNG to access Young Platform Clubs. Depending on the selected level and applicable terms, Club members may receive benefits such as fee discounts, market insights, rewards, card-related advantages, and partner offers.
YNG has a fixed total supply of 100 million tokens and no minting or burning mechanism. It should therefore not be presented as having an automatic inflationary or deflationary model.
Young Platform’s documentation also refers to the possible use of part of the revenue generated by selected features for YNG buybacks or decentralized-pool liquidity. This is a discretionary mechanism: it is not guaranteed, is not linked to a fixed price or predetermined schedule, and may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time. It should not be described as an automatic burn or fixed deflationary programme.
As the issuer of YNG, Young Platform publishes inside information under MiCAR. In July 2026, it disclosed the completion of a capital increase by its parent company, Young Group S.p.A., valued at approximately €22.5 million, including around €18.85 million in cash. Azimut Group acted as the lead investor.
The capital increase was a corporate financing transaction involving the parent group. It does not represent a guaranteed benefit, return, or future price commitment for YNG holders.
How Young Platform Combines Crypto, Payments, and Everyday Finance
Young Platform is designed to connect crypto-assets with tools used in everyday financial activity. Through the wider ecosystem, users can manage crypto and euros, access a payment account, use a card, monitor their portfolios, and participate in the YNG loyalty programme.
The payment services have a separate regulatory structure. Young Platform S.p.A. operates as a payment-services agent of TPPay S.r.l., an electronic-money institution registered with the Bank of Italy. The payment account should not be treated as equivalent to a traditional bank current account.
This setup allows the ecosystem to connect trading and holding crypto-assets with euro liquidity, portfolio management, card payments, and loyalty benefits.
What Makes Young Platform Different From Traditional Crypto Exchanges?
Many crypto exchanges are built primarily around trading. Young Platform takes a broader approach by connecting several stages of the user journey:
- learning about crypto;
- purchasing and holding assets;
- using advanced trading tools;
- creating recurring purchase plans;
- managing euros and payments;
- accessing loyalty benefits through YNG.
Its main difference is therefore not one individual feature, but the way these products work together. Beginners can start with educational content and a simplified exchange, while experienced users can access Young Platform Pro without leaving the wider ecosystem.
Combined with its MiCAR authorization and published regulatory disclosures, this approach positions Young Platform as a European crypto ecosystem built around trading, education, portfolio tools, payments, and everyday use.
Risk notice: Crypto-assets are volatile and involve a significant risk of loss, including the possible loss of the full amount used to acquire them. Users should review the applicable terms, fees, White Paper, and risk disclosures before using any crypto-asset service.
