Official Rules of the “Beginnersʼ Competition” Promotion and Details

The Organizer of the Promotion is WhiteBIT.

Promotion period: from 12 PM (UTC) on June 5, 2024, to 12 PM (UTC) on June 30, 2024.

Territory of the Promotion: Citizens of all countries of the world can participate in the Promotion, except for the following: Afghanistan, American Samoa, U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, Canada, Iran, Yemen, Libya, State of Palestine, Puerto Rico, Somalia, North Korea, Northern Mariana Islands, USA, Syria, Georgia, Lithuania, Sudan, South Sudan, “Transnistrian Moldavian Republic”, France, Germany, temporarily occupied territories of Georgia, “Nagorno-Karabakh Republic”, Northern Cyprus, Western Sahara, Ambazonia, Spain, Kosovo, Republic of Belarus, Russian Federation, temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. Participants are responsible for ensuring that their participation is not prohibited or restricted by the laws or regulations of their country. The Organizer reserves the right to verify the eligibility of Participants to participate in the Promotion and may request proof of residence or location if necessary.

The Promotion is conducted primarily to promote the WhiteBIT brand.

The Promotion is not a gambling game, lottery, gambling service, or contest. These Terms do not constitute a public promise of reward.

The information about the Promotion is provided for advertising purposes by the Organizer. Participants of the Promotion can be adult citizens of non-prohibited countries (i.e., all except the above-mentioned) or other persons who are legally present in such countries and who meet the following Conditions:

1. Newly registered on the WhiteBIT website or are already registered users of the WhiteBIT exchange for no longer than three months at the start of this Promotion and have completed the verification (KYC) procedure;
2. Clicked the “Participate” button on the Promotion page;
3. Traded allowed* trading pairs on the margin and spot markets of the WhiteBIT exchange and reached at least 2,500 USDT (equivalent) in total trading volume during the Promotion period.

*The trading volume of the Participants of the Promotion will be counted only for available pairs with USDT on the spot and margin trading on the WhiteBIT exchange, except for pairs with national currencies and stablecoin pairs (e.g., USDC/USDT).

Attention!

The leaderboard is a ranking table of the Participants of the Promotion, formed according to the trading volume (where the Participant with the largest trading volume is in first place), updated every 30 minutes. Final data on the trading volume will be collected at 12 PM (UTC) on 30/6/24.

The trading volume is calculated as the total amount of all the Participant’s executed buy and sell orders in the specified trading pairs during the Promotion period.

The Organizer of the Promotion reserves the right to disqualify a Participant if they:

• Use wash trading (execute their own orders);
• Use accounts with a 0% trading fee (except for special trading fee discounts provided to WhiteBIT Coin (WBT) holders);
• Use API bots;
• Use a corporate account (e.g., created for exchange services);
• Use multiple accounts (only one account per Participant is allowed);
• Engage in any other illegal activities or activities that contradict the User Agreement, AML Policy, or Privacy Policy of WhiteBIT.

The Terms of the Promotion must be met within its duration.

IMPORTANT! When participating in the Promotion, registering on the exchange multiple times (using multiple accounts) is prohibited. Participants with multiple accounts will be disqualified. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, each Participant may register only once (have only one account). Using multiple accounts (multi-accounts and/or sub-accounts) or collaborating with affiliated users and/or users of sub-accounts belonging to the Participant to manipulate orders is prohibited and will result in the closure of all accounts without the owner’s consent. If multiple accounts are detected, the Organizer reserves the right to close the second created account and any subsequent multi-accounts.

Personal data of Promotion Participants are processed to ensure participation in the Promotion, for marketing, advertising, tax, and accounting purposes.

Employees, representatives, or agents of the Organizer and their relatives (first and second degree of kinship) are not allowed to participate in the Promotion. If, at the time of awarding the Prize, it is determined that a person who participated in the Promotion is not eligible to be a Participant according to these Rules, that person will not be granted the right to receive the Prize.

Participants who meet all the conditions of the Promotion have the opportunity to become Winners and win a portion of the Prize fund, which amounts to 1,000 USDT.

The maximum number of Promotion Winners who can receive a Prize is 10 individuals.

The Prize fund will be distributed as follows:

• 1st place in the Leaderboard — 350 USDT;
• 2nd place in the Leaderboard — 220 USDT;
• 3rd place in the Leaderboard — 110 USDT;
• 4th place in the Leaderboard — 90 USDT;
• 5th place in the Leaderboard — 70 USDT;
• 6th place in the Leaderboard — 55 USDT;
• 7th place in the Leaderboard — 40 USDT;
• 8th place in the Leaderboard — 30 USDT;
• 9th place in the Leaderboard — 25 USDT;
• 10th place in the Leaderboard — 10 USDT.

A Winner can receive only one Prize from the Prize Pool.

Based on the results of the Promotion, the Organizer automatically forms a list of Participants who have met the conditions and achieved the highest trading volume at 12 PM (UTC) on June 30, 2024, according to the trading volume of Participants at the end of the Promotion, which will be available in the Leaderboard.

The Winners who will receive the Prize are the 10 Participants who met all the Promotion conditions and had the highest trading volume in allowed pairs at the end of the Promotion, according to the ranking formed in the Leaderboard.

The list of Winners will be published in this article on July 5, 2024.

If the Winners cannot be contacted or if they have not met these Conditions, they lose their right to receive the Prize and their Winner status, which will be transferred to the next Winner in the list.

The Organizer will credit the Prize to the Main balances of the Winners on the WhiteBIT exchange within 5 business days from the next calendar day after the announcement of the Winners, i.e., by July 12, 2024, inclusive.

Winners of the Promotion will be informed about the crediting of the Prize by email to the address provided during registration on the https://whitebit.com/ website within 5 business days after the Prize is credited.

The Winner receives the Prize for free and without the possibility of exchange. Replacement of the Prize with its cash equivalent is not provided. The Winner of the Promotion has no right to demand any other compensation from the Organizer. The Organizer does not provide any warranty obligations regarding the Prize received under this Promotion and under the conditions specified in these Terms. The received Prize is not subject to return.

If the Winners do not receive the Prize they are entitled to or face any other difficulties, they must contact online support on the https://whitebit.com website or via email at support@whitebit.com no later than July 19, 2024, inclusive. If Winners do not contact regarding the non-receipt of the Prize by the specified date, they lose the right to receive the Prize.

Winners determined based on the Promotion results cannot transfer the rights to receive the Prize to third parties.

The Winner of the Promotion has the right to refuse the Prize.

The Organizer does not reimburse the Winner for any additional expenses related to receiving the Prize. The taxation of Winners’ income who received the Prize is carried out in accordance with the current legislation of the Participants’ countries.

By participating in the Promotion, the Participant understands and agrees that any information voluntarily provided by them, including personal data, may be processed by the Organizer or third parties engaged by the Organizer for the purposes of conducting the Promotion, performing all necessary related actions (including, but not limited to, informing about the Promotion results both in advertisements and by other means), as well as the possible future sending of information to the Participant, including advertising information about the Organizer’s upcoming events/contests/promotions/draws. By accepting the requirements of these Terms, Participants thereby consent to such processing of personal data for use by the Organizer and/or other persons authorized by the Organizer and confirm their full understanding and necessary awareness regarding the purposes of the provided information processing, as well as the privacy policy: https://whitebit.com/privacy-policy.

At the same time, by participating in the Promotion, Participants confirm their consent to the use of their surnames and first names without any material compensation, as well as their agreement to comply with other rules of the Promotion. Winners confirm their consent to provide promotional interviews about their participation in the Promotion in the media, including on radio and television, and to be photographed for the creation of graphic materials without any monetary compensation. All exclusive property intellectual property rights to such interviews and photos will belong to the Organizer.

The Organizer reserves the right to make changes to the Terms and timing of the Promotion. In the event of any changes, information about this will be provided on the website https://whitebit.com and on the Organizer’s social networks. The Organizer does not engage in disputes that may arise between Promotion Participants regarding the Prize. In the event of situations that allow for ambiguous interpretation of these Rules and/or issues not regulated by these Rules, the final decision is made by the Promotion Organizer in accordance with the requirements of current legislation. At the same time, the decision of the Promotion Organizer is final and not subject to appeal.

The Promotion Organizer is not responsible for the work of telecommunications companies, postal services, including email, for any errors by employees of any enterprises/institutions/organizations that ensure the exchange of information between Promotion Participants and the Organizer, or circumstances due to which postal items did not arrive, arrived late, were lost, or were damaged; or due to which a Promotion Participant did not receive the corresponding Prize.

In the event of any discrepancies or inaccuracies related to the translation of the Promotion into several languages, the English translation is considered valid and replaces all other versions.
