Terms and Conditions of the “Crypto Crossword” Promotion
The Organizer of the Promotion is WhiteBIT.
The Promotion Period: from 12:00 (UTC) on the 16th of January 2024 to 18:00(UTC) on the 31th of January 2024.
The territory of the Promotion: the Promotion takes place in all countries except the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, American Samoa, the Virgin Islands of the United States, Guam, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Republic of Yemen, the State of Libya, the State of Palestine, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Federal Republic of Somalia, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, the United States of America, the Syrian Arab Republic, the Republic of the Sudan, the Republic of South Sudan, the «Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic», the French Republic, the Federal Republic of Germany, the Russian-occupied territories in Georgia, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Western Sahara, Ambazonia, the Republic of Kosovo, the Kingdom of Spain, Canada, the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation, and Ukraine.
Participants must ensure that their participation is not prohibited or restricted by the laws or rules of their jurisdiction. The Organizer reserves the right to verify the eligibility of Participants and may request evidence of residence or location if necessary.
The Promotion aims to promote WhiteBIT services.

The Promotion is not a game of chance, lottery, gambling service, or contest; these Terms are not a public promise of reward.
Information about the Promotion is provided as an advertisement.
Participants in the Promotion are legal adults from unrestricted countries (i.e., all except those mentioned above) or other individuals who, on lawful grounds, are present in the territory of such countries and have met the following conditions:
- First-time signed up for the WhiteBIT website or already signed up and confirmed their identity (KYC verification);
- Joined the WhiteBIT community on Telegram;
- During the Promotion, you found a post or several posts on the WhiteBIT community page on Telegram with a crossword. You gave the correct answer faster than others in the comments below the corresponding post.
The crossword is a set of riddles in the form of 27 questions published in 9 questions gradually (17.01, 24.01, and 31.01) during the Promotion period.
The Promotion Terms must be met within its duration.
Any personal data of Participants processed for participation in the promotion, marketing relations, advertising relations, tax relations, and accounting relations.
Employees, representatives, or agents of the Organizer and their relatives (first and second degree of kinship) are not eligible to participate in the Promotion. If, at the time of awarding the Prize, it is determined that a person who participated in the Promotion cannot be a Participant according to these Rules, such a person is not entitled to receive the Prize.
Participants who have fulfilled all the Promotion Conditions can become the Winners and win part of the Prize Pool, which equals 27 USDT, — 1 USDT for each Participant for one correct word.
The maximum number of Promotion Winners is 27 persons.
One Winner can receive an unlimited number of Prizes.
Based on the results of the Campaign in the period from 31.01.2024 tо 02.02.2024, the Organizer forms a List of 27 Campaign Participants, each of whom was the first to answer the crossword puzzle question and fulfill all the Campaign Terms.
The Participants indicated in the List have the opportunity to become the Winners and receive the Prize.
The List of winners will be published on February 05, 2024, in this article on the WhiteBIT blog (https://blog.whitebit.com/).
The representative of the Organizer will contact the Winners in the period from 05.02.2024 to 07.02.2024 inclusive via Telegram to find out the information for the Prize calculation.
In case the Winner does not respond to the Organizer’s representative by 09.02.2024, the right to receive the Prize and the Winner’s status will be transferred to another participant from the List.
The Organizer shall credit the Prize to the Winner’s Main balance on the WhiteBIT crypto exchange until 16.02.2024 inclusive.
The Winner receives the Prize free of charge. The Prize will not be replaced with its cash equivalent. The Winner has no right to demand any other compensation from the Organizer.
The prize received is not subject to exchange or refund.
The Organizer does not bear any warranty obligations regarding the Prize received within this Promotion and under the conditions specified in these Rules.
In case of non-receipt of the Prize, if the Winner was entitled to it, or in case of any other difficulties, the Winner must contact online support at https://whitebit.com, by email support@whitebit.com or via chat no later than 02/23/2024 inclusive. If the Winner does not contact the support by 02/23/2024, particularly regarding the issues of not receiving the Prize, the Winner loses the right to receive it.
As a result of the Promotion, the Winner determined that they cannot transfer the right to receive the Prize to third parties.
The Promotion Winner has the right to refuse the Prize.
The Organizer does not compensate the Winner for any additional expenses associated with receiving the Prize. The taxation of the income of the Winner who received the Prize is carried out in accordance with the current legislation of the Winner’s country.
By participating in the Promotion, the Participant understands and agrees that any voluntarily provided information, including the Participant’s personal data, may be processed by the Organizer or third parties involved by them to conduct the Promotion, perform all necessary actions related to it (including, but not limited to, informing about the results of the Promotion in advertising, as well as other methods), and also further possible sending of information to the Participant, including advertising, about the Organizer’s next events/contests/promotions/draws. By accepting the Data requirements of the Terms, Participants hereby consent to such processing of personal data for the purpose of using it by the Organizer and/or other authorized persons of the Organizer and confirm their full understanding and necessary awareness of the purposes of processing the provided information, as well as the privacy policy: https://whitebit.com/privacy-policy.
At the same time, Participants in the Promotion confirm their consent to the use of their names without any material compensation, as well as the agreement to comply with other Rules of the Promotion. Winners confirm their consent to provide promotional interviews about participating in the Promotion in mass media, including radio and television, as well as to be photographed for the production of graphic materials without receiving any monetary compensation. All exclusive intellectual property rights to such interviews and photos will belong to the Organizer.
The Organizer reserves the right to make changes to the Conditions and Terms of the Promotion. In case of any changes, information about this will be provided on the website https://whitebit.com and on the Organizer’s social networks.
The Organizer does not enter into disputes that may arise between the Participants of the Promotion regarding the Prize. In situations that allow ambiguous interpretations of these Rules and/or questions not regulated by these Rules, the Organizer of the Promotion makes the final decision in accordance with the requirements of the current legislation. At the same time, the decision of the Organizer of the Promotion is final and not subject to appeal.
The Organizer of the Promotion is not responsible for the operation of telecommunication services, postal communication, and email services, for any errors of employees of any enterprises/institutions/organizations that provide information exchange between the Participants of the Promotion and the Organizer, or circumstances due to which postal shipments did not arrive, arrived late, were lost or damaged; or due to which the Promotion Participant did not receive the corresponding Prize.
