Terms and Conditions of the “Ho-Ho-HODL: Crypto Portfolio Quiz” Promotion
The Organizer of the Promotion are the company UAB Clear White Technologies, incorporated under the legislation of the Republic of Lithuania under the number LT-03224, whose registered office address is J. Basanaviiaus g. 26 Vilnius, Republic of Lithuania (from now on referred to as “Organizer”).
Promotion period: from 16 p.m. (UTC) on December 22, 2023, until 16 p.m. (UTC) on December 31, 2023.
The territory of the Promotion: the Promotion takes place in all countries except Afghanistan, American Samoa, the U.S. Virgin Islands, the Territory of Guam, Iran, Yemen, Libya, the State of Palestine, Puerto Rico, Somalia, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, The Northern Mariana Islands, USA, Syria, Russian Federation, Republic of Belarus, Republic of Sudan, Spain, “Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic”, temporarily occupied territories of Georgia, “Republic of Artsakh”, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Western Sahara, Ambazonia, Kosovo, South Sudan, Canada, and temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
Participants must ensure that their participation is not prohibited or restricted by the laws or regulations of their country’s jurisdiction. The Organizer reserve the right to check the admissibility of participation in the Promotion of the Participants and, if necessary, may ask to provide proof of residence or location.
The Promotion is held with the main goal of popularizing the WhiteBIT.
The Promotion is not a game of chance, a lottery, a service in the field of gambling business, or a contest; these Terms are not a public promise of reward.
Information about the Promotion is provided based on advertising rights.
Participants of the Promotion are adult citizens of non-prohibited countries (that is, except those specified above) or other persons who are legally present in the territory of such countries and who have fulfilled the following Terms:
- Signed up for the WhiteBIT website for the first time or are already users of the WhiteBIT exchange and have passed the identity verification (KYC) procedure;
- Subscribed on one of WhtieBIT official social media (Instagram/Facebook/Twitter);
- During the Promotion period, complete the quiz at the link.
- Posted a crypto portfolio on their page in the stories or post on one of the social networks (Instagram/Facebook/Twitter) using the template from the Google form at the link and tagged the WhiteBIT exchange page in one of the social networks.
Important! Only Instagram profiles that meet the following conditions can participate in the Promotion:
- The account has at least 12 posts published within 5 days between each post.
- The account has an avatar and more than 100 followers.
- The account is open for the duration of the activity (until the winners are announced).
Important! Completing all tasks can be done all at once or in stages. Not all tasks will be available immediately after the start of the Promotion and will be added later. A user becomes a Participant of the Promotion immediately after receiving at least one ticket.
The terms of the Promotion must be fulfilled within the terms of its conduct.
Any personal data of the Promotion Participants is processed to ensure participation in the Promotion, marketing relations, advertising relations, tax relations, and accounting relations.
Employees, representatives, or agents of the Organizer and their relatives (first and second degree of kinship) are not eligible to participate in the Promotion. If at the moment of providing the Prize it is established that a person who participated in the Promotion cannot be a Promotion Participant following these Rules, such person shall not be entitled to receive the Prize.
Promotion Participants who fulfill all the Terms and Conditions have an opportunity to become Winners and win a part of the Prize Fund in the amount of 1200 USDT:
The 12 Participants with the highest number of points in the survey will share 1200 USDT equally and receive the equivalent of 100 USDT each in the cryptocurrency they indicated in their portfolio.
The maximum number of the Promotion Winners is 12 people. One Winner can receive only 1 Prize.
According to the Promotion results, in the period from 31.12.2023 to 14.01.2024, the Organizer forms the List of Participants who meet the Promotion Terms and conditions and have scored the highest number of points. The 12 Promotion Winners who will receive the Prize will be determined on January 14, 2024 using the random.org service, automatically, among all Promotion Participants who have fulfilled the Terms of the Promotion. The Winners are determined by the rating (place in the list on the service https://www.random.org/).
The list of Winners will be published by 01/14/2024 in this article in the Organizer’s blog (https://blog.whitebit.com/) and a video with a screen recording of the Winners’ determination process on the WhiteBIT YouTube channel.
The Organizer shall credit the Prizes to the Winners’ main balances on the WhiteBIT exchange until 21.01.2024 inclusive.
The Winners of the Promotion will be informed about the Prizes crediting by a letter to the email address specified during the registration on https://whitebit.com/ within 5 business days from the date of all Prizes crediting.
The Winner receives the Prize free of charge. The Prize will not be replaced. The Winner has no right to demand any other compensation from the Organizer.
The received Prize is not subject to exchange and refund.
The Organizer does not bear any warranty obligations for the Prize received within this Promotion and under the conditions specified in these Rules.
In case of non-receipt of the Prize, if the Winner was entitled to it or in case of any other difficulties, the Winner must contact online support at https://whitebit.com, by e-mail support@whitebit.com. The Winner must do so no later than 28.01.2024 inclusive. In case the Winner does not apply within the specified period, in particular, regarding the non-receipt of the Prize, the Winner loses the right to receive it.
The Winners determined by the Promotion results cannot transfer the rights to receive the Prize to third parties.
The Winner of the Promotion is entitled to refuse the Prize.
The Organizer do not compensate the Winner for the additional expenses related to the receipt of the Prize. Taxation of the income of the Winners who received the Prize is carried out in accordance with the current legislation of the countries of Participants.
By participating in the Promotion, the Participant understands and agrees that any information voluntarily provided by him, including the Participant’s personal data, may be processed by the Organizer or third parties involved by him. The information may be processed to conduct the Promotion, to carry out all necessary actions related to it (including, but not exclusively, informing about the Promotion results both in advertising and in another way), as well as further possible sending of information to the Participant, including of an advertising nature, about the following events/competitions/promotions/draws of the Organizer. By accepting the requirements of these Terms, the Participants hereby consent to such processing of personal data for use by the Organizer and/or other persons authorized by the Organizer and confirm their full understanding and necessary awareness of the purposes of processing the information provided, as well as the privacy policy: https://whitebit.com/privacy-policy.
At the same time, by their participation in the Promotion, the Participants of the Promotion confirm their consent to the use of their surnames and names without financial compensation, as well as their agreement to comply with other Conditions of the Promotion. The Winners confirm their consent to provide advertising interviews about participation in the Promotion in the media, including on radio and television, as well as to be photographed for producing graphic materials without paying them any monetary compensation. All exclusive intellectual property rights to such interviews and photographs will belong to the Organizer.
The Organizer reserves the right to change the Terms and Conditions of the Promotion. In case of any changes, information about this will be provided on the https://whitebit.com website and Organizer’s social networks.
The Organizer do not enter into disputes that may arise between the Promotion’s Participants concerning the Prize. In situations that allow an ambiguous interpretation of these Terms and/or issues not regulated by these Terms, the Organizer of the Promotion make the final decision in accordance with the requirements of the current legislation of the countries of Participants. In this case, the decision of the Organizer of the Promotion is final and not subject to appeal.
The Organizer of the Promotion is not responsible for the operation of the services of telecommunications companies, postal communication, in particular e-mail, for any errors of the employees of any enterprises/institutions/organizations that ensure the exchange of information between the Participants of the Promotion and the Organizer, or the circumstances as a result of which postal items did not arrive, arrived late, were lost or damaged; or as a result of which the Promotion Participant did not receive the corresponding Prize.
In case of any discrepancy or inaccuracy in the translation of the multiple languages used in the Promotion, the English translation shall be deemed valid and supersede all other versions.
